"Because it'd be. . ." He almost said, "it'd be better then having to spend time with you", but stopped himself. He shook his head, "never mind." They sat quietly for a few moments then he finally said, "So how long do you think this is going to last." Not that she knew the answer to that, he just didn't know what else to say.

"Oh, good. You're up, dearie", Rose heard.
An elderly woman in a red dress and a white apron came walking over to her and Scorpious.
"Who are you?" Rose asked.
"I'm Madam Pomfrey", the woman said. "I'm the head nurse here in the hospital wing. You suffered a concussion after you were hit with that bludger."
"What's a bludger?" Rose asked

"Really now?? You don't even remember quidditch?" This shocked Malfoy a bit. "Well you're pretty damn good at it, I got to give you that." He turned to the elderly woman "Madam Pomfrey, do you really think that I'm the best person to help? I mean.. it may be counterproductive if you ask me."

"It can help", Madam Pomfrey said. "You're the only person who knows her better than the other students."
"He's the only one?" Rose asks. "Don't I have any friends or family?"
"I'll send an owl to your parents. Maybe they can come and help you remember."

After the nurse walked away, Scorpius began mumbling to himself. "Of all the cousins and team mates AND room mate, they think I know you best?!?!" He ran his fingers through his blond hair. "It's rubbish!"

She didn't know why Scorpious was so mad, but she could see that it had to have been her fault.

"I think it's time you got some rest, dearie", Madam Pomfrey said. "Mr. Malfoy, you're free to go. Be sure to come back tomorrow."
