I slowly manage to fall asleep, pulling the sheet over me slightly and facing away from the door, not wanting to think of anything beyond it for now.

"No," Quinn said quietly. "Tired of your lifestyle. I haven't even been with you long and I've been captured by the navy, attacked by pirates and left to die on an island,"
Bailey didn't return to the cabin that night, he spent his time pacing on the deck, going over his thoughts.

"All in a day's work, love," Jack replied with a slight smile. His face then fell as he realized she was quite serious. He thought a moment, the only sounds being the ocean and the paddling of him and the two others on the rafts several yards to their stern. "So you'll be staying at the next port then, I take it," he replied slowly, though it wasn't quite a question as it was a statement of realization.

I wake up later in the night, staring at the wall beside me, unable to really sleep properly with all that's going on inside my head. I wonder what it'll be like when Jack is back onboard and we're part of some sort of crew again.. it seems like we were on that island for weeks, let alone a few days. My mouth feels dry again, so I head back out to get a bottle of rum.

Bailey joined in the crew's card game on deck, acting like he was part of them while he hadn't yet decided in his mind the next course of action.
"I ... I don't know," Quinn admitted. "I have nothing left on shore, but I don't know if I can handle this life,"

Jack nodded. "Well, you do what you feel is righ' for you, eh? I'd be sad to see ya go, though," he admitted with a slight smile.

Quinn smiled a little, "You've still got Cleo," She said quietly, then shrieked at the dead body floating past them.

Jack was about to reply when he jumped at Quinn's scream. He turned to look at the body that floated beside them, bloated and pale as it drifted by, thankfully face down. His mustache quirking, he flicked his gaze to the now moonlit horizon. "Looks like we found the trail...or maybe it found us." He then shook his head. "An' Cleo isn't mine. She's Bailey's."

"You wouldn't have kissed her if you believed that," Quinn told him, looking away from the body and trying to forget the image.

Jack shifted the raft so that they were moving in the direction the body had come from, then froze. "I don't know why I kissed her," he admitted. "It felt like the righ' thing to do at the time." He then met her gaze, lofting a brow. "Would you rather me kiss you? Is tha' why you sound so jealous?"
