They ran through the docks hand in hand. Quinn grinned as they approached a grand, black ship. Once they were on the deck, Quinn threw her arms around his neck with a squeal. "I'm free," She grinned.
Bailey grunted, not appreciating the interruption when he'd been so close to what he wanted. "...Alright." He said reluctantly, resting a hand on the hilt of his sword. "Catch me up," He told her, not willing to let her get away so easily. He nudged the front door open with his shoulder and headed out into the town, jogging to catch up with Sparrow.

I slip my boots back on, slig my bag over my shoulder, and head out of the room after Bailey.. I'm not that far behind, and as I look back I notice a rather angry man just a few steps behind. I start running too, because his face is enough to make anyone panic.

Jack looked surprised by Quinn's sudden show of glee, but he quickly returned the hug, giving her a gentle pat on the shoulder before pulling away. He offered the woman her bag back, returning the grin. "Aye, y'are, love. Welcome aboard the Pearl."
He then gave a bellow, turning his head to the side. "Mr. Gibbs!"
The man appeared from below decks, his weathered face alert and ready. "Aye sir?" he wondered as he approached.
"Get the ship ready to leave. We depart first thing in the morning. And post a watch...there might be an angry irate drunkard coming after us. If he can find us, that is."
Gibbs looked a bit flabbergasted - he usually did when conversing with the Captain - but he gave a sharp nod nonetheless and immediately moved to do as ordered. "Aye, Captain!" Within minutes the ship was a flurry of men and movement.

Quinn picked up her bag and followed Jack. "So, where's my room, Captain?" She asked.
Bailey jogged up the gangplank onto the deck of the Pearl. He paused a moment, glancing around the ship, taking it all in. If he had his way, this would all be his soon enough.

I'm there a few moments later, out of breath, I glance behind when I stop, looking up to Bailey I'm not quite willing to actually step aboard the ship, it's a little daunting, but when I notice the man still hot on our path.. well, their path... Without much choice I run up the gang plank, taking refuge on the decks.

Jack glanced at Quinn, about to answer her question when he saw Bailey boarding the ship. His brows lofted as he took several steps closer. "You? Aren't you supposed to report in the morning?" He didn't wait for an answer, waving his hands and shaking his head as he continued. "No matter. We're leaving now, hope you have everything with you. Welcome aboard and all that."
He looked past Bailey to see the map-maker. His brows shot up again. "And you?! What are you doing here? You didn't sign on too, did you?"

Bailey spun around after Jack waved dismissively at him, hearing the yells of the drunk man coming up behind them, more accurately, behind Cleo. He grabbed her hand and roughly pulled her aboard the ship and kicked the gangplank off the deck, sending the drunk man flying back onto the docks. His hand still tightly gripping hers, he looked across at her. "You alright?" He checked.
Quinn watched wide eyed, keeping her mouth shut. She followed behind Jack like a lost puppy.

"Mm.. Aye." I frown, looking from him to Jack.. "And.. no.. no I didn't. I'm just getting away from that madman.."

Jack looked towards the mouth of the port, and to the open ocean beyond. "Get us out of here, you scabrous dogs!" he ordered, his voice almost a growl. "Make all haste and set that top sail!"
He watched as his crew went about their jobs, making sure everyone was following their orders accordingly. Then he turned back to his two newest members and passenger, looking to each as he addressed them. "Mr. Bailey, you've had prior experience aboard a sailing vessel so I have no doubt you won't have any trouble finding a chore that you can accomplish. Ms. Quinn, since you are to be our cook I will have Gibbs show you our stores and our mess hall. And you..." he glanced to Cleo. "Have you sailed before and would you like to help out or will you be filling in in the capacity of bow ornament?" he joked.

I look at him, dumbstruck. Of course I've sailed before, but a ship is the last place I want to be right now.. Christ, I can't go anywhere near the Navy.. I was safe back there, in one of the most terrifying settlements on the planet.. ".. Uh.." I begin, "I know how to sail.. a bit anyway.. but I'd really rather not be on here. I trade maps, I don't... sail. My business is back there.."
