"I'd much appreciate it." I force a smile, dropping the small-talk now, though, as we approach where I'll be staying.

Jack gave a wave towards the second passenger cabin door as they came to it. "There y'are. Quinn'll be right next to you, too, in the other cabin. An' like I told her, if you need anything, just ask."

"Sound's good to me." I look inside at the uncomfortable little room, but it can't be that much different to what I'm usually used to, "Thank ye' for the hospitality, Jack."

"You're most welcome," Jack replied with a smile and a slight little bow. "I'll let you get settled in, then," he then added, turning and heading once more back towards his cabin.

I watch him go, "Eh, when yer free, come find me for that drink, aye?" I call after him, before heading into my little room. It's quite cold and dark in the night air. I light a gas-lamp and look around a little before I find the edge of my bed to sit upon, taking my boots off and jacket off with a sigh.

"Will do, love," Jack called back without turning around, a smile upon his face. He was about to return to his cabin, but instead he headed up the steps to the top deck, eager to see how they were progressing.

I spend the next couple of hours just lying around the cabin, waiting for Jack, Bailey, anyone interesting. The girl next door is so quiet I start to wonder if she's still there, and yet I don't want to investigate, because the thought of some awkward conversation is considerabley worse than just doing naught-at-all. When I finally sit up from my position of being quite curled up on my uncomfortable bed, it's the dark of the night, and my dimming lamp is the only source of light in the room. I suppose I should find something to eat or drink. Or find Bailey, I can't imagine he's still updecks.

Bailey was still up on deck, having finished his work, he was now just sitting, watching the ocean as he leaned back against the mast. He was enjoying the sea air, and the peace of the night.

I stand up, streching a little, before I re-organise my appearance and head up decks, finding my way through the damp, cold length of the ship. When I get to the surface I glance around, it's a little bit lighter out here, thanks to the moonlight and all, I see Bailey quite easily, he doesn't seem to be up to much, so I approach him.

Bailey glanced up at her when he saw a pair of women's boots stop in front of him. "Enjoyed your talk with our good Captain?" He asked.
Meanwhile, below deck, Quinn was attempting to get some sleep. She'd heard Jack bring the other girl down to her cabin, so apparently he hadn't just been giving herself special treatment. She'd arranged her belonging and was now trying to relax enough to sleep. The room was nice enough, simple and plain, but liveable. She hoped when they reached the next port she'd be able to pick up some flowers or nice tapestries to decorate the room and make it prettier. She'd left Tortuga in such a hurry she hadn't had time to stop and think about these things.
