A Love That Is Loving

Will inhaled sharply as Elizabeth closed the distance between them. He looked away when she started, not sure what she was getting at. He knew she was way better then her, he hadn't expected her to rub it in though. "What?" he was so startled Will looked into Elizabeth's eyes for a moment. "You... you l-love me?" he stammered in disblief, shaking his head a little. He wanted to reply and tell her he loved her too but he couldn't talk aorund the lump in his throat.

"Yes," Elizabeth nodded and leaned closer toward Will. "I love you with every fiber in my being, Will. I love you...I only hope that you love me too." Elizabeth frowned and leaned back. "Do you? Oh...you probably don't...who would love a woman like me."

Will felt like he couldn't breathe he was so shocked, never in his wildest dreams had he expected Elizabeth to tell him she loved him! "You can't love me." he muttered weakly. Her last comment however startled him even more. "What? Elizabeth you're beautiful and kind and such a wonderful person..." Will stopped feeling stupid. "Who couldn't love you?" he whispered.

Elizabeth looked at Will and smiled softly. "Do you love me, Will?" Elizabeth asked, leaning forward. "If you do, kiss me."

"I... I do love you." Will whispered at last as he brought his hand up behind her head. Looking into her eyes for a moment Will leaned down and skyly kissed her lips, being sweet and gentle. "I do love you." he repeated against her soft, wonderful tasting skin. He'd never flet her lips before but decided he liked the feeling quite a bit.

Elizabeth closed her eyes in delight and kissed him back, tilting her head to the side. The kiss was soft and gentle. She brought her hands to his shoulders and scooted closer towards him. "And I love you," Elizabeth murmured against his lips.

Will reluctently pulled away from her tender lips and shook his head. "You shouldn't love me Miss Swann." he muttered. "We're too different, I mean..." he trailed off and looked at the sand. "It's going to get cold tonight. We better make a fire." With that Will ubruptly got up and went to get some wood. While he walked he thought of what Elizabeth had said, he hated to hurt her feeling and more over he loved her too but things couldn't work out between them... could it?

Once Will was back, Elizabeth stood up and walked towards him. "Will," Elizabeth whispered. "Don't ignore me. You can't ignore your feelings for me. It can work for us." Elizabeth cupped his face and leaned closer. "My father...you may not know this...but my father had always wished for you to court and marry me. He only choose James for it because of the social. But in his heart, he chooses you."

"I don't know." Will looked into her eyes for a long moment. "I've... I've been ignoring my feelings for you for a long time. It's the only way I can do without something I want." he lookedd down at the ground, sighing as she touched his face. "I'm still not good enough for you." he muttered, rubbing her side a little before pulling away. "We need to make a fire." he said, he turned away from her, feeling like he was stabbing his own heart with a knife. His dream had come true, Elizabeth really did love him. But he honestly didn't know how to handle it.

Elizabeth grew furious. He ignored her once again and she will not have that. She waited a while to be alone with Will, to be actually alone. To kiss him and tell her his feelings for him; she never got the chance to back at Port Royal. Elizabeth stalked up to Will, not allowing Will to just ignore her, and pushed him up against a tree and stood in front of him, her body almost up against his so he wouldn't be able to get away. Though, pushing him caused him to drop the wood.

"I've been waiting years for this, Will," Elizabeth said in a soft voice, though she did not feel that. She held a frown on her face. "Don't ignore me, Will. You love me, I love you. It's not like my father won't allow it; he adores you! He even said himself he wanted you to marry me one day." Elizabeth smiled and placed a hand on his face and caressed his skin. "Please listen to me, Will. Let me talk. You are good enough for me. You can't walk away from me now. I turned down every man in Port Royal, James as well. Why? Because I love you and only you; I want to be with only you. Please Will...you are good enough for me. Don't deny it. If I had to choose any handsome and rich man in Port Royal as a husband, it'd be you."

She only hope he wouldn't ignore her now.
