POTC Changes

[Barbossa's girl]

Norrington looked surprised at Allison.

"How do you know my name?" he asked. "You're not even from Port Royal. Are you and your friend witches?"

Allison gasped.

"No, of course not. We're just ordinary girls."

"Really? Then how did you get here?"

Allison thought of an excuse. She couldn't tell them the truth. They wouldn't believe her and call them witches."

"I..." she began. "I can't explain."

She suddenly felt rough hands grab her. She turned around and saw soldiers take her hands and clamp them in shackles. They did the same with Amber, too.

Wow Allison thought. Now I know why pirates hate these things.

"Until you can prove you're not witches", Norrington said. "You and your friend will be kept under our watchful guards' eyes."

He turned to the soldiers holding Allison and Amber.

"Take them away."

I gasped. "Wait! We stowed away on a ship! I don't know what the ship was called. And then we...merely fell. Hit our heads." I pulled my hair back to show him a bruise I could feel forming. He seemed a little skeptic. I looked at Allison for her to help. "Please. Don't lock us up!"

[Barbossa's girl]

"Uh, what she said is true!" Allison agreed. "We came on a ship and hit our heads while we were walking."

Norrington smirked. He could tell that they were lying.

"Then tell me", he said. "How is it that none of the townspeople have seen you walking and hit your heads?"

Allison had no excuse. She and Amber were taken to the prison.

"You're all wrong, I tell you!" she yelled from the bars. "We've done nothing wrong!"

She groaned as she felt pain coming from her arm.

"Oy, you alright, love?" she heard from the cell next to them.

Allison gasped. She knew that voice. She took a look to see if it really was him.

"Amber", she whispered. "It's Jack Sparrow."

My eyes got wide and I turned around to look for myself. Normally when she'd say that, Amber wouldn't believe her. But after seeing James Norrington...

She had to resist the urge to scream!

"Ah, you know my name?" He asked, leaning against the bars. Amber put her hand over her mouth. She grabbed Allison's arm with her other hand, hoping she would hold her back from jumping him.

[Barbossa's girl]

"Of course we know your name!" Allison said. "Uh, doesn't everybody know the great Captain Jack Sparrow?"

She groaned again as her arm hurt.

"I need to get this looked at", she said.

Amber looked at her and then her arm. "What-oh!" She saw how bad it looked. "Allison, are you ok?" She asked, concerned.

Allison's arm was all red with her fingertips burnt black.

"It must've happened when I tried to turn off the computer last night."

"What's a computer?" Jack asked.

"It's nothing you would know about", Allison answered. "It's a really different thing."

She looked around the jail cell.

"We need to get out of here. How do we do that? No point in trying to lure that dog with the keys."

Amber looked around the jail cell. "Remember what Will said? Leverage!" She said excitedly and looked around. "Well...the bench is..outside the cell..." She said, frowning. "Now what?"

[Barbossa's girl]

"I don't know", Allison said. "I really don't--"

She turned to Jack.

"Do you have a plan? Surely, you must!"

"I do have a plan", he said as he started scraping off one end of the bone that was for the dog.

"Oh, I get it."

They suddenly heard cannon fire outside. Allison got up to look out the window.

"It's Hector Barbossa on the Black Pearl!"

"How do you know Barbossa?" Jack asked.

Amber hit Allisons arm. "We're not supposed to know everything yet!" She hissed at her. She looked back at Jack. "We...ran into him once...somewhere." She lied, hoping she sounded believeable. But...it was Jack Sparrow. Maybe he was too drunk to even notice...
