I huff and stare at him, tis his ship, but this was only the most precious things to me, heirlooms, not the gold and jewels that we had stolen which still laid under the sea in the Maniot's hull.
I pick up a bottle of rum and pull the cork out with my teeth, sip some then pass it to him, "There is more on the ship, more treasure, and even a small about of it is worth much more than this; I'll get that for you, and give you all of that, and I'll keep these paltry riches."

I shrug. "Good with me. But why'd you want to keep such small things like this..." I lift up a red jewel the size of me palm "...all to yourself, eh? I'll give you the couch in my cabin."

I sigh, not willing to explain or give them up, " I'll sleep on the deck, thank you, I like it out here," I lie.
Before he can ask anymore I dive back into the water, the salt water stinging as I open my eyes, I swim hard back into the halls, I knock all of the bottles and things I know will float up to the surface with a little coaxing, and I take a small empty barrel and start filling it quickly with jewels and gold. Feeling light headed I swim to the surface as fast as I can, dragging it behind me. Weighed down the barrel won't float so I tie it into some excess netting that is on the Pearl's side. I take a few deep breaths, preparing to dive again.

I stand there for a couple minutes, my jaw down. Before she dives I ask her: "How many more times you planning on dunking yourself in the deep blue? She's only a ship."

" Ahh, but she was my ship," I call back, I must seem like a fool but I loved her, it hurt me even to say was.
I go under again and come back, having emptied her of everything worth taking. I pass that too him on the ship and then I dip my face in, taking a last look at her before grabbing a rope ladder and climbing back onto the Pearl.

When she gets back on I smile. "I understand. Take your time. Only, don't. We're leaving in a bit." Once we can pull up the ol' anchor.

I heave the last barrel up onto the deck, it is filled mostly with gold and some silver, a few hollow gold statues tumble out. I gather my take, the heirlooms and few other pieces precious to me. Standing here, drying off in the brightening light I am very glad my slip is a dark purple. I sip some rum watching him.
"And where are you in such a hurry to go?" I ask, hoping that maybe now that I have shared my plunder, plunder that I alone gathered usually, he would be less reticent and tell me where we are headed.

((Damn! Sorry! I didn't realize I'd come back to five pages.))
I finished my work quickly so I could relax after the storm. Jack was a good captain and he got us out of it quick. I was a little annoyed that he tried to outrun it but...that's Jack for you. I walked along the edge of the deck and watched the exchange between Jack and the new woman to just come aboard. She was diving into the water to retrieve things from her ship. I suppose I could understand that. I would have done the same. I felt sorry for her that she had to lose her ship like that. I'm sure it meant a lot to her, assuming she was like any other proud captian. I walked up to Jack and smiled.
"When are we leaving Captian?" I asked, my heavy french accent showing once again. I ran a hand threw my wet and now tangled hair. It would take a good five hours just to be able to run a brush through it again. One of the grievances of being a pirate, I suppose.

( haha, yeah, sorry about that, seems Jack's Wife and I got a bit RP happy!) I look up at the new girl, one of Jack's crew mates that I had yet to meet. Pretty girl, too clean looking, didn't seem like she belonged on a ship at first glance, but I tried to repress this as many a pirate had thought they same of me, likely.

((lol. i know what that's like.))
I looked at the woman. "I'm sorry. I'm being rude. I'm Annabelle Black." I stuck my hand out in a polite gesture. I knew I didn't fit in as the typical pirate. But that's what you get when you're stuck in a house that forces manners, cleaniness, and lady-like tones on a daily basis. It was a habbit I would have to soon lose.
