"Barbossa said it was my cabin," Jenna said indignantly, trying to pull herself up to her full height, which wasn't very tall at all. Feeling furious, she dangled the map over the water. Trying to annoy Jack, she said, "I could just drop your stupid maps, you know. Maybe then you'd feel bad for insulting the captain."

Jack pulled out his compass with a sly smirk. "I don' need any maps or charts.. I'll do fine with just this!" He opened it and watched the needle spin and spin and land on-- He made a funny face and slammed the compass shut. "Bugger"

"Oh really?" Jenna asked, smiling at Jack's inconvenience. "Doesn't seem like you're doing fine to me." She let the charts slide an inch down towards the water below. "So are you going to tell me out of the fountain and swear to stay out of my cabin, or not?"

Jack felt an annoyed twitch in his lips. "Love, it seems I'M the only one here who know's how ta get to the fountain so I don' think ya wanna be doin' that.. Besides.. Yer CAPTAIN here answered all the other questions ya had like a fool, so he might as well answer this one fer ya too.. Cuz I refuse to.. And I refuse ta say outta my own cabin on my own ship."

Jenna continued to look at Jack in irritation. She was really wishing he would just go away and leave her and the captain alone. Continuing to dangle the map over the edge of the boat, she said, "So how are you going to know where to go without the maps?"
And turning to Barbossa, she offered a small smile and said, "I might of heard of it, yes. What exactly does it do?"

Jack sighed and crossed his arms over his chest. This girl was really annoying. She was so nosy and every moment that she was there, Jack was starting to hate Barbossa more and more for letting her on the ship... That gave him a thought.
"You slimy..." He turned to Barbossa.. "I get it. I really get it now. You let little miss ray-o-sunshine here come with us just cuz ya know she'd piss me off the whole time, aye?" He laughed a little. "Bloody brilliant actually."

Jenna's lip trembled slightly at Jack's words. She was at the end of the line with him. She couldn't see what she had done to hurt him and she was very fed up with his constant complaining. She also felt a bit betrayed by Barbossa. Was it true that he had only brought her along to annoy Jack? It did seem probable. She had been a fool to think someone like Barbossa could actually like her for who she was.
Lip trembling even more, she said, "You don't have to travel with us. Just go back to your old ship where you belong." With that, she let go of the charts and sent them flying down to the sea below.

Jack was at his wits end with her. She didn't know a thing about them except what Barbossa had told her and she didn't even bother taking the time to question Jack's side of any of it. Why did everyone always look at Jack like he was the bad guy. His whole life he's been abused and had his things taken from him. He threw his hands in the air and yelled "This is my bloody ship!!" There was an awkward silence in the room before Jack stormed out and made his way up to the helm - the only place he could clear his thoughts.
