"Ah, so you do know of me. Well now." Jack sat up and cleared his throat. Obviously these people wanted information about Australis Incognito, and they'd bug him until they got it. But perhaps he could strike a deal with them. Eventually, of course, he'd get back to his ship, but all in due time.
"Yes, for the record, I have been to this region of which you speak, darling. And yes, I would say there are a fair many great dangers lurking about, the least of which would be the water itself." 'Course, he didn't want to say much else. Not in this position, at any rate.

"Which sorts of dangers do you speak of?" Melchior enquired, sternly.

'indeed, we're sailing towards it and we need to know everything before we go' She added. She wasn't sure if Sparrow was stupid enough to give away all secrets he knew, if not, which she assumed a sly pirate such as him would do, she would have to find a way to convince Melchior to bring Sparrow along. Which was exactly what Serena was aiming for..

"Everything?" Jack stopped examining his nails and looked up at both Melchior and Serena. The idiots expected him to tell them everything without a fuss - or else they knew he'd try to strike a bargain, and came expecting it. Jack didn't care, so long as he made it out in one piece, and with all of his effects. "Well, 'course I could tell you everything about Australis Incognito, or Incognito Australis, or whatever it's called - but what good would that do you? Honestly." Jack walked around Melchior and patted him on the back. "You might get stuck in a bit of a precarious situation. Or, worse..." he walked around to Serena and spoke beside her ear - "...you could get locked up."
And here Jack walked back beside Penny and stood, arms crossed. "Obviously, the wisest thing to do - not to infringe upon any intelligence you may have, good sir - would be to take yours truly, and perhaps the girl here, though what use she may come to be of, I don't really know, aboard your fair vessel and sail into this strange abyss for... what were we sailing there for?"

Melchior automatically scowled when he was touched and almost glared over to Jack, "Do you think me stupid, Pirate?" He said, "The only way you're to travel aboard a navy vessel is in the brig."
Penny rolled her eyes, finding this situation tedious.. she stood up and shrugged a little, "I don't mind helping ye, even if it means sticking around in the brig. Better than being hung infont of the London masses." she decided.. presuming that once aboard said ship, there would be numerous, much easier possibilities to escape.

Jack smirked and sat back. "I think a lot of things, honestly, mate. But if it helps you sleep at night, just as well." Jack shrugged. If they wanted his help, he'd demand out of the brig, but better on a ship than locked away in a jail cell.

"You'll die a death of gastly disease down there." He raised an eyebrow to Penny, "I don't think you really know what you're answering to here."
"I know that I'd rather be at sea to die than on land." she answered.

Jack looked back and forth between Melchior and Penny. "Well, if that's all, I'd like my effects, please..."

Serena had a small grin on her face, seeing as her plan came to work 'I have to admit, Melchior, it does sound like a good idea.. if they stay in the brig, of course. I do not like to be in the same room as a pirate' She had cringed when Sparrow came closer and practically whispered in her ear. The disgust she had for him grew by the second.

Melchior frowned slightly when the woman called him by his first name, "You'll call me Captain." He told her, and then glanced back to Sparrow, "And so will you," he told him, and then to the other girl, "And you, I don't know why you should accompany us. Can you give me any reason?" He frowned.
Penny stared at him for a few seconds, her mind working slower to respond to such a question.. ".. I know the area also. Probably better than Jack." She lied, "I've been there more than once and survived it."
He watched her closely as she spoke, not believing a word of what she said. She was small, with dark blonde hair, fair-skinned, and did not look at all capable of so much as being aboard a vessel than being part of a crew. "Fine." He frowned, giving into the situation. Not out of stupidity, but out of pity for the silly girl infront of him.
