This made Astoria snort out a laugh. Clearly he was being sarcastic. . . Right? "Sure.." She walked over and pulled her knife from the wall and stuck it back in her boot. "Yer a good liar cap'n.." She walked closer to him in the same seductive manner as she did the first night they met, "But not as good as me." She whispered in his ear before walking away with a smirk. Sure, she was acting a bit bipolar, but she's a woman, she's allowed to do that.

Jack smirked as Astoria walked away. As soon as he was alone, he got a weird feeling in the pit of his stomach. He brushed it off thinking nothing about it. Jack got up and followed Astoria to see if she wouldn't have any problems with the crew below deck. He made sure she didn't see him.

As she walked, Astoria threw her hair back up and put her hat on. There was no point in telling the crew that she was a female. Of course if it came out, she would admit it. Sure she was a little afraid of them messing with her, but she was pretty confident that she could stand up for herself. Besides, she didn't intend on staying on the Pearl forever. She'd learn what she had to then join another crew. Things would just be to awkward with Jack. . . And quite frankly annoying. Seriously if he called her Asty one more time she was 90% sure she'd end up throwing him over board. Although there was a small part of her that was actually growing accustomed to him calling her that. "He's a jackass." She mumbled to herself as she slumped down in her hammock. However despite her lack of sleep, she couldn't actually seem to fall asleep. She couldn't stop tossing and turning with a million thoughts running through her mind. Why did he offer his bed to her? It had to be because he wanted to sleep with her again. There's no way she was going to let that happen. Letting out a long sigh she sat up and stared off at nothing in particular.

Jack saw Astoria lying in her hammock. She seemed to be asleep. She deserved the rest.
"I want movement!" he shouted waking the rest of the crew.
Everyone started getting dressed and running on deck.
"Leave him lie", Jack told one crewmember who was going to wake Astoria.
Jack waited until everyone was on deck before walking over to her. He pulled a crate over and sat down beside her. Jack watched as Astoria's chest rose up and down with each breath she took. He gently brushed a stray hair away from her beautiful face. Before he could stop himself, Jack gently pressed a kiss to Astoria's forehead. He got up and went back to his cabin leaving her to sleep.

Astoria heard Jack coming so she laid back down and acted like she was sleeping.. It was hard not to move as he got closer and even more so when he touched her. The feeling of his rough fingers and her skin, and the tickle of his beard sent shivers down her spine. As soon as she heard him leave she jumped up and began pacing the room. Finally, after about 20 minutes of random thoughts ricocheting around in her head, she ran up to the top deck, where Jack was standing at the helm and just stood there staring at him as if she was searching for the right words. . But as always with Astoria the right words never came. So instead, with her hands on her hips she said, "What the hell was that??"

"What was what?" Jack asked.
He had no idea what Astoria was talking about. He didn't do anything to her.

"That. ." She messed with her hair "thing you did.." She touched her forehead. She didn't want to say any of it out loud for a few different reasons.

"Oh...that", Jack said. "Thought you were asleep?"
He felt really uncomfortable talking about it in front of the crew.

"Ermm.. Well I was awake enough to notice." She stared at him for another moment, then turned around. "Never mind.. It's not important." She said, then went to the side of the ship and looked down at the water.

Jack let another crew member take the helm. He went down to the lower deck where Astoria was.
"My tremendous intuitive sense of the female creature informs me that you are troubled", he whispered. "Care ta talk about it?"
