He start gasping for air.

Barbossa's eyes rolled into the back of his head before they closed.
"Ma, do something!"

Jenna started hyperventilating. She started pounding on Barbossa's chest.
"Hector, get up! Come on! I can't go on without you!"
She pressed her mouth to his and tried to breath into him while she stroked his hair back from his face.

Barbossa opened his eyes. His breathing came heavily.
"Pa? You okay?" Rath asked.
"Fer now..." Barbossa said.
He looked at Jenna.
"Go ahead 'nd get the doctor if ya want."

Jenna started crying uncontrollably. What would she do if Barbossa died?
"Yes, I will...right away," Jenna said, running towards the door. "Rath, if he...uh...does that same thing again, do what I did!"
Jenna ran all the way to the doctor's office and pounded on the door.
"HELP! My husband is dying!"

"Pa", Rath said. "I can go get Rebecca if you want."
"Will ya?" Barbossa asked.
"Yes. Where is she?"
"The caribbean. We gave her ta a family that could take better care of her."
"Ok, pa. I'll find her."

Jenna summoned the doctor and ran back to the house. She threw the door open and ran inside. She sat next to Barbossa on the bed and grabbed his hand, not noticing that Rath was missing.
"How are you doing?"

Jenna sighed, "How many times must I ask you to STOP talking about dying? You're not going to do!"
She squeezed his hand tightly.
"What can I do for you? Like is there anything you really want to do before..."
Jenna trailed off.

He closed his eyes feeling at peace knowing Rath was going to get Rebecca.

Rath stowed away on the first ship heading to the caribbean. He had to hurry if he was going to find his sister before Barbossa died.
