Barbossa was gasping for air. He looked up at Jenna and saw the knife in her hand. Was she going to stab him? His heart stopped.

Jenna, who had totally forgotten she still had the knife, ran to his side. She put her lips on his and tried to get him to breath.
"Hector, what's wrong? You have this strange expression on your face..."

Jenna saw what he was looking at and threw the knife across the floor.

Barbossa's eyes focused. He evened his breathing.
"I hope Rath comes back soon", he said. "I dunno how long I can hang on."

"Don't talk like that, please?" Jenna begged.
She eyed the knife, wondering if maybe it would be best if she stabbed herself now so she'd already be dead when Barbossa died.

Jenna put her arms around Barbossa and helped him back into bed. He looked pitiful.
"Is there anything else you need?"
Jenna was already backing up so she could conceal the knife.

"Don't leave me", Barbossa said. "If ya leave, I'm gonna die alone."
Rath stopped when he saw a girl. She had long blond hair and blue eyes. He forgot about Barbossa and walked up to her.
"Hi."

Jenna was going to go insane if he said that one more time.
"Hector. You. Are. Not. Going. To. Die!"
She picked the knife up and sat by his bed, hoping he didn't notice it.
"Hey," Rebecca said when a strange boy randomly walked up to her.
She had no idea what he wanted, be he seemed friendly enough.
