Logan scrambled back to his feet quickly, and threw himself at the nearest enemy. The guy was hard as rock - which was probably his power, but no rock could match Wolverine's adamantium claws. He gutted Rocky quickly, and turned to move on to the next. One of the mutants, a redhaired woman, was fizzling with electricity. She pointed at Alfie, sparks flying from her fingertips.. obviously intending to fry the boy.
She was too far away, but Logan managed to tackle Alfie just before a bolt of electricity would hit him. "Careful, kid." He warned Alfie, before he moved to fight the attackers again.

Alfie stayed on the floor for a moment slightly dazed. He had no reason to be careful, he couldn't die after all.
He eventually scrambled to his feet and charged at the electric girl, stabbing her in the throat before she had a chance to recharge. He was getting into this after all. If only he had a better weapon. Alfie wished he hadnt been so stupid as to show Storm the gun.
Mystique continued knocking out anybody who got in her way. Once in a while shifting as much as she could into Logan, taking on his claws as a weapon.

Gambit was in another part of the hallway, explosions could be heard and alot of French swear words. He charged one guy who'd been dodging his cards left and right, heightened agility maybe? He stuck his hand in the mans jaw, focusing on it, he charged his jaw and sent the man screaming down the hall, he winced, "Ack, dat's gunna smart in de mornin'" he went down the hall, pulling out his bo-staff, he zig zagged between guys, charging the end of the staff and slamming it into the men's gut, sending them down, then pulling a playing card out and charging it, throwing it square at their chests. He finally came to rest in the midst of the X-Men, "you havin' de party without me?" he asked,pulling a throwing spike out of his pockets and charging it, sent it into a woman's throat.

"You didn't miss much." Logan told Gambit casually. But he had to admit, the added powers to their team came in pretty useful now. Even Mystique was taking a part in the fight, surprisingly. When Logan glanced briefly in her direction, he frowned to see she apparently got more powers back than she had claimed. He shrugged it off though, focussing on the task at hand.
The shockwave-mutant pulled of the same trick as he had before, sending all of the X-men flying back, smashing into walls. Shockwave-mutant gave out a laugh as he did. In response, Logan growled dangerously, getting back to his feet. "You've got guts." He told the man. He then ran forward. With an animal like growl he threw himself at the attacker, and dug his claws deeply into the guy's stomach. "Too bad they're all over the floor."

Alfie looked away when Logan spilled the guys insides all over the floor. A lanky goofy guy stood across the other side of the room laughing at him, and from where he was standing across the other side of the room, threw a punch at Alfie, his arms stretching five times it's original length to do so.
Alfie leaped in the air and clung to the ceiling, dodging the punch. He dropped back down on the floor, landing on the guys super-length arm, digging his heels in as much as possible.

The attacking mutants were powerful, using their diversity of powers and the fact that their attack was a surprise to their advantage. But slowly, the X-men were starting to gain the upperhand of the fight. Slowly but steadily.
Logan tactfully placed himself in the middle of the fight, so whenever he slashed one of the attackers, he hit another who was in right direction. One time Mystique got in the way of his claws, but he slid them back into his arm before he could harm her. Though he would have gladly been too slow, in that case.

I pushed my arm out and emitted fire from it, blowing off three mutants on my right side, then used water with my other hand and washed away three on the other. I didn't have too much time, so I froze two so Logan could kill them off. I almost called on an earthquake but decided against it, because I didn't want to destroy the mansion. "Where'd these guys come from?" I call out to any of our side who might be listening.
I sent lightning bolts out of my hands and knocked out two men on my right.

Gambit got cornered by a guy who looked like a giant insect, he buzzed around Remy's head, letting one punch after another with hands and what looked like a giant tongue, reminding him creepily of a flying Toad. He got aholt of it's tongue charging it to a bright pink, and watched as it exploded in his mouth. Gambit laughed, pulling another card out, "Oh..Ace of Spades, you're outta here mon ami" it glowed pink, then embedded itself in the things head, blowing up and sent the body to the ground.

Alfie ran along the wall, his knife out in one hand, he was dragging it along slicing throats as he went.
Mystique spun around to glare at Logan. "Watch where you're pointing those things," She morphed into Logan again, to confuse the mutants coming at them. The mutants stopped, looking from one Logan to the other in confusion. Mystique leaped forward and skewered them.

I froze another guy who went in Gambit's direction, leaving him for Gambit to finish.
