"Mm," I said.
"I'm not meaning to take charge, by the way," I added. "That's always been Storm's thing. Just in case you thought so," I said lamely. I knew Gambit heard me, that was specifically aimed at him. I could tell from the start that he worked solo. Logan could tell I was saying that to Gambit, it seemed like.
"I don't know if Liche should come with us," I said, approaching Logan and Jack. "He seems too... I dunno..." I searched for the right word without hurting his feelings.
I shrugged. "Up to you, ma'am. Just please pack some food this time." I knew she'd tell me when to go to the jet. "See you, Storm. Logan." I turned on my heel and left to go take a look at the grounds that I hadn't seen for time on end. I approached the courtyard.
Which is when I saw the graves. Xavier first.
Then Jean.
Then Scott.

After Jack left, Logan turned to Storm and shrugged his shoulders. "Let the boy decide himself," Logan suggested, "He put up a good fight just now. Besides, any more help is gonna come in handy these days."

Alfie glanced at Logan in surprise. "I'd er ... I'd like to come with you. I don't want to stay here on my own ..."
Mystique smirked. "You won't be alone kid, I'm not going anywhere,"
Alfie looked up at Logan, with desperation in his eyes now. "Please," He said, scared of the though of being alone with the eye eater.

"If you come with us, you're gonna see a lot more of what you just saw, kid." Logan warned Alfie, meaning the gore that had been spread all over the hallway. "And you don't get any guarantees that you'll come out safe and sound."
Of course, Logan didn't know about Alfie's ability to come back to life yet.

"Damn right you won't, or you'll be either dead, or on the first flight back." Logan warned the boy. Nevertheless, he thought more manpower would be a good thing. After losing Jean and Cyclops, the team could use some new flesh. So as far as he was concerned, the kid could come. Logan predicted that Alfie would toughen up, sooner or later. Probably sooner, considering the circumstances.
"And kid, don't call me mister." He added, "The whole world just calls me Wolverine."

Alfie nodded. "thank you," He mumbled, glad he wouldn't be stuck alone with the crazy woman.
Mystique winked at him and licked her lips, just to freak the kid out.

Logan gave Mystique a dark look, his eyes narrowed. "What about you, Blue? Anything to say in your defence? You said you didn't have much powers back." He reminded her, pretty ticked off over the fact that she was obviously more powerful than she had claimed.

Mystique rolled her eyes. "You obviously brawns and not brain, arent you? They're coming back all the time," She stretched her arm out and it turned blue, she turned it over, looking all over it. "Better hurry up if you want to kill Eric before he gets his powers back,"
