Mystique grabbed on her bag on the way past and headed up the stairs. She decided it wasn't fair on the little girl to have to share her room with her mummy. Instead, Mystique moved into the room the other side of Lucy's room to Logan's, keeping as much distance between them while still being close to Lucy. She wandered across to Lucy's room to gather the last of her things. Mystique glanced up at the closed door and pulled open the bedside drawer, taking out the single rose that laid inside. The good thing with Logan leaving a hundred roses in her room, he wouldn't notice when only ninety-nine ended up over his head. It was starting to wilt but it still made her heart wrench as she held it to her chest.
Mystique moved back to her new bedroom and crawled under the sheets, clutching the rose in her hands as she sobbed.

"Thought so." Logan said in a gruff voice. She would be wise to stay on his good side. He carried on down the hall, swigging the beer.

At the same time, Lucy ran from the lounge, as her film finished on tv. She grabbed Logan by the hand. "Come play dollies with me, daddy! Pleeeeeeease?" She asked, looking up at him with wide, sad eyes.

"Well you can't just swing in and leave, y'know." It was lame but Jack wanted to talk to the other people here. And if everyone was so damn depressed it pushed her out of the loop even more. She was isolated to begin with, things just made it worse. "At least talk to me for a little." When Lucy ran out, she sighed. "Yeah, okay. Kids first, Jack later."

If she wanted him to talk, Logan prefered to think of it as 'kid first, Jack never'. He had absolutely no interest in a heart to heart with.. anyone, actually. What did he look like, deep-conversation-guy? He rather played dolls, and that meant something. He gave Jack a shrug, and took his daughter's hand in his. "Sure, punkin, let's go."

"Bitch," Jack muttered. About Logan. Lucy was a sweetheart. Scott walked out from behind.
"What's going on?"
"Logan's going to go play dolls. And *you* are gonna drink beer. Now."

Lucy dragged Logan up the stairs to her bedroom. She let go of his hand in the doorway and ran into the room to find her dolls, gathering up her barbies under her arm. Lastly, she grabbed the little blue teddy in the cowboy hat by the hand. "C'mon teddy!" She told the bear with a grin. She walked across to Logan and held the bear out to him. "Teddy likes you daddy! He says he's glad you want to play with him," She grinned and sat down in the middle of the floor, arranging the barbies to sit in a circle.

Logan looked at the blue teddy she shoved into his hands, a frown on his face. As if he needed anything more to remind him of Mystique. He looked back over to Lucy, who was arranging her dolls with great care and handed the teddybear back so she could put it down too. His mood was sinking below zero, though. Mystique was constantly on her mind, even when he didn't want 'r to be.

"Sit down, daddy!" Lucy ordered him, pointing to a space in the circle she made for him, sitting the teddy down next to her. "We're going to have a tea party!" She told all the dolls and crawled under the bed for her tea set. She set out the tea pot in the centre of the circle and put cups and saucers down in front of each doll. Lucy placed a teacup in front of Logan and picked up the teapot. "Tea daddy?" She asked, looking at him with a big grin.

Lucy's voice brought Logan's thoughts back to reality. He looked over to her, trying to remember what she asked. She was holding up her teapot with make-believe tea expectantly, so he figured it out. "..Uh. Yeah. Sure." He said, 'stead of asking her whether she had make-believe beer as well. While Lucy was 'pouring' the tea, his gaze moved to the wall, distracted again. Only this time it wasn't his thoughts that did it. It was a sound.. an umistakable sound. He wasn't imagining it either. He heard crying.
Goddammit, he made 'r cry. Days had passed, and still he made 'r cry. Logan's heart sank in his chest. He looked back to Lucy, hesitated, but then got to his feet again. "Stay here, alright punkin? I'll be back." he told her.
