"Those bite marks on your neck say otherwise, baby," Mystique gave him a wink, Aurora oblivious to the sexual suggestion in her voice, Lucy too young to understand.
"Daddy tastes like chicken?" Lucy asked, looking up at them with equally wide eyes as Aurora.
"Better, Luce, daddy tastes so much better than chicken. Aurora agrees, don't you 'Rora?" Mystique smirked at their baby, still with her daddy's finger in her mouth.

"You makin' dinner plans here?" Logan smirked at Mystique, pulling her closer with the arm that was around her shoulders.

"More like dessert plans," Mystique smirked, and playfully bit the end of his nose.
"Ice creeeeeeeeeam and cake!" Lucy squealed, thinking of a different kind of dessert.

"Hmm. I'm hungry for something else." Logan murmered in Mystique's ear. He brushed a kiss just behind her ear, tickling her sensitive skin.

Mystique smirked a little, "Not around the kids Logan," She murmured in return, "Let's try not to traumatise Aurora until she's at least 16," She smirked a little.

"Optimist." Logan told her with a smirk, briefly stealing another kiss from her lips - while Lucy was squealing about cooting again.

Mystique smirked a little at Lucy, "Don't you have some homework to do, Luce?"
"Nope!" Lucy grinned.
"Somehow I don't believe that," Mystique raised an eyebrow.
"Owwwww," Lucy slid off the sofa to go do her homework.
Mystique stood up as well, and held Aurora to Logan's face, forcing the baby's mouth to her daddy's. "Night, night daddy, 'Rora's bathtime then bedtime," Mystique grinned, cradling Aurora in her arms as she carried her upstairs to give her a bath.

Logan watched them go, smirking slightly. The mood was definately better than the night before. The fact that neither of them risked getting fired today probably helped. Still, he hoped Mystique wouldn't be so stupid to take those extra hours at work. Evenings and weekends (and the occasional lunchbreak) was all the time they had together. And hell, if he could win a cagefight or two they'd have some money to put aside anyway.
Lucy snapped Logan out of his thoughts when she crawled back onto the sofa with a schoolbook. "Daddy!" She tugged his hand, "If the teacher makes me feel bad, can I punch her too?"
"Makes you feel bad how?" Logan looked over to their oldest daughter.
"By giving me homework?" Lucy tried.
Logan grinned, "Maybe when you're older."

Mystique carried Aurora though to the nursery bathroom and bathed her in the sink. The little girl was still too small to even hold her own head up, let alone sit up in the bath without drowning. She smiled as the baby babbled to herself while Mystique washed her tiny baby body. Aurora was so small and delicate, Mystique was shocked neither her or Logan had broken her yet, or dropped her, or generally injured their baby in some way. With one hand, Mystique squeezed a pea-sized amount of baby shampoo onto her fingers and washed Aurora's hair.
Mystique wrapped Aurora up in a warm, fluffy towel and sat with her in the chair next to her crib for a while.

After Lucy finally started her homework, Logan went upstairs where he found Mystique in the nursery. "Hey babe," He crouched by her side, giving Aurora a kiss on her forehead, "And baby." He added with a smirk.
