"I'm gonna take him down" he said, still not really knowing how. He took a step closer to her and kept looking into her eyes to make her realize he was gonna do it.
Why is she making me say stupid things I have to try to live up to later! Why am I caring so much about her personal shit?!

Alex raised her chin slightly as he said that, pretty sure she'd never heard anyone try and claim they were going to take down Luke Harth.

He took another step closer and they were standing as close as he had told himself yesterday night that they never should again...

He added quickly; "Just don't believe I'm gonna do it right now today. But soon I will"

Alex searched his eyes for a long moment, knowing she shouldn't look into them-- they were hazards for falling in love with. She wanted to ask him how somebody like him could have eyes like that.

Great. If he could stop blabbering (he believed it was her that made his mouth just never stop). He had clearly blocked out all realistic and smart thoughts, like...She was one of the Anarchy members. That was a minor detail that could have great consequences as he kissed her now...

Alex was about to open her mouth in retort to his statement, probably something about being able to take care of herself, but his kiss caught her off guard. She grunted softly and then pressed her lips back into his, taking more advantage of the kiss.

He was battling the angel and the devil in his mind now. A part of him knew that he should stop the kiss and continue on with working and definately not touch her again. The other part, which soon was going to win, told him to never let her go

Alex surprised herself with the reply, although it was hardly a mutter understandable, as her lips were back on his, kissing him strongly. She had never kissed anyone like this.

He stroke his hands down her sides as he kissed her, then stepped closer, putting his arms around her back as he started kissing her neck.
"Stop pushing me away..." he asked of her by her ear, wanting to save her from Luke if it would be the last thing he ever did. He stopped kissing her, leaning his chin on her shoulder, breathing in her scent that made him all warm inside. A feeling he wasn't used to... He was prepared to let go of the embrace if she would push him away, he thought she would since being close like this wasn't something that she used to be comfortable with, at least not from his experience with her. But he hoped she would stay like this for a bit longer with him...

Alex stood still as he breathed in the scent of her, she was already surrounded by him, both physically and emotionally now-- there was no escaping him. She closed her eyes, but even with them closed all she could think about was his blue eyes. They were to die for.
"No!"
She gasped out suddenly, shoving him back, exactly what he had told her not to do.
