Valeria had been gazing out at the ocean for an hour straight before her stomach grumbled. 'Looks like I'm hungry...' Was she free to get food herself? Where could she get it? This wasn't her house where she could simply walk downstairs and grab something sweet to snack on. 'Let me ask the captain. I hope I'm not bothering him.' She walked up to his cabin and knocked on the door.

Barbossa looked up when he heard another knock on his cabin door, already figuring who it was. "Aye?" He asked, as Jack the monkey chewed on a peanut, starring at the door with wide brown eyes.

"It's Valeria. I've finished cleaning the brig and I was wondering if there's anything else I need to do? Also, would it be possible for me to have something to eat? Hard work can make a girl quite hungry. If it's not too much to ask, of course."

"Since you bring it up...Go talk to the cook below deck and you can help him set the table and serve the food. He'll call everyone down." He grew silent, starring out at the ocean, biting into another green apple.

"Right. Thank you, captain." Valeria went below deck and found the cook, telling him what the captain told her. Back home she was also an amazing chef when it came to certain dishes.

Starry sat in her cabin, studying maps. The compass moved suddenly to her rum bottle and she picked it up but it was empty. She grumbled and went below to fetch another two bottles of rum.

Finally, the meal was complete. Would this be a late lunch/early dinner? It didn't really matter, did it? Definitely one of her best meals. Valeria hoped everyone liked it, especially the captain. For some reason she really wanted to get on his good side. It could have been because he was the highest rank on the ship, or was it that she found him interesting and aloof, always in his cabin? Well, the latter didn't hurt, right? She always liked getting to know people better.

Jack paced around in his cell, muttering. Suddenly he stopped. "Leverage..." He could see from a hole in the ship that it was night. He planned a muteny against Barbossa. Or at the very least to take over his ship and then go after his compass. He broke free from his cell and snatched up his affects.

Valeria help set the table, admiring her work. The cook called everyone down as Valeria took a seat. "I hope you all enjoy dinner. I helped prepare it." Valeria told the crew. Apparently, her meal tasted delicious, so she took a bite, eyes closing briefly as she savored the taste.

"Cap'n!" Joshua breathed, bursting into her cabin.
"What's all this?" She demanded, standing.
"A ships been spotted."
"Colors?"
He paused. "Royal Navy...Cap'n..."
Starry narrowed her eyes and snatched up the fullest rum bottle and headed out, her crew busteling about the deck like a frenized ant hill. She pulled out her telescope, looking out at the Royal Navy ship headed their way.
