"HA!" I shout as I hear him run into the door frame. Suddenly I'm in the kitchen, breaking dishes. I pull everything from its shelf and smile at the horrible sound.

I grin. Fucking around with Falcone's place - soon I'll have to get me a new one, but still. It's the symbolism of it all that makes it beautiful. "Don't mess it all up without me, puddin'." I walk across the kitchen, crunching the broken plates with my feet, reaching the fridge. The next thing I know, food bowls are flying across the room, smashing into the walls and dribbling down the plaster.

I hang from the shelf with my full weight, trying to reach something on the top, and actually rip it off of the wall.

I howl with laughter, chucking tomatoes at the window. They look disgusting. They're probably rotten. "The TV," I say, with a rasp, hoarse voice. "Get to the TV - but don't touch the computer." You never know when you'll need a computer. My internet to-do list for people who wanted to "join the team" wasn't even completed yet.

I stop and dubiously eye the giant flat-screen TV.Then I smirk and go for it anyway.

Within a half hour the entire house is wrecked. No way we can call this "home..." not that I ever did. Even the dirty imprints of Monty's waste in the bathroom is covered by broken mirror shards, plumbing water, and broken toilets. "Let's go, Harley. Out. Let's go." And with that, I grab my Arrow knife and head out. Time to steal a car and let the monsters loose on Gotham.

I feel like I broke every part of who I'd been with that house. I took nothing from it and followed him out into the night.

(we're getting close to the end scene, hrmm hrmm?)
(~timeskip~)
Three days. It'd been three days. We broke into a bunker, stole arsenals, set up gasoline and gunpowder in the ferries. It'd all come to this. A big surprise for Gotham. There was no way out - and no way of surviving. You either died on the bridge, or on the ferries. Or, you could stay at home with mommy and daddy and hope that big, bad Clownsie didn't come home and knife you. All the while, Harley's remained crazy, going looney and looney and loonier and loonier. And it doesn't end. The madness, it's like a disease. All it takes is one bad day. But I've had a billion.

I don't even think anymore. I'm a creature of action. I contradict myself. One minute I'm laughing and the next I'm raging and the next I'm in tears. I laugh so hard I cry, I cry so hard I laugh. And nothing is ever silent. There's a constant humming chaos in my head. Tonight the world is going to explode and I'm excited, but J says I have to wait. I bounce up and down on my heels like a little kid.

"Shh, Harley... shh." I know tonight's the big night. The Bat's going to be meeting me face-to-face... whee-hee-hee. I'd have Harley next to me at the end to satisfy her curiosity, but I know better. She's like a pet dog - she'll get in the way. "You - you are gonna shut the ferries down, using these power switches, right here. They won't be able to move. Not once." I show her the control panel. "And make sure that nothing - nothing/i] - goes wrong. Tonight, Gotham joins us in the madness." All it takes is one bad day.
