Either of those are fine. Or both of them are fine, actually. You can play more than one person if you need to.

Great, thank you! I'm reading the RP up to now to get caught up, and then I'll post profiles and work myself in. Edit-- I'm all caught up, so I'm going to bring my guys in. Here are character profiles! Captain Stephen SowersIn his 40s and a Naval captain of the Revenge, essentially a sister ship to the Interceptor with more up-to-date modifications. Still bitter after losses to the Brethren Court--though he was only a cabin boy at the time of the battle (AWE)--he has made it his life's work to destroy pirates, one ship at a time. His current assignment has been to patrol the waters off of Tortuga, suspected to be a pirate stronghold, and engage any ships of suspicion. Dedicated and loyal to the point of obsession, he won't stop at anything to carry on his mission to hunt down piracy. Midshipman Simon FryIn his early 20s, and still only at the rank of midshipman, Simon is a bit of dolt. His parents sent him into the Navy hoping to straighten him out--not a bad man, just lacking in common sense and coordination. He is consistently goofing up and attempting to make it better while only worsening the condition. Despite his lackluster performance for the Royal British Navy, he has always nursed dreams of becoming a pirate--enchanted by the romantic illusions of life on the high seas as a free-willed ne'er-do-well, he constantly wishes for the day when he can escape from the Navy and join a buccaneer crew. He is currently stationed on the Revenge, though the captain's mission is counter to everything he hopes for.
