HARRY POTTER BASED RPG ... SORTA


In North America, in the state of Norh Carolina, The Biltmore House was bought out and used as private property.

But, this was only a facade for a school of witchcraft and wizardry. A spell was created to emulate the room-of-requirement spell to make the inside bigger than the outside; but, this spell is permanent.

Number one in it's country; though, in a close race with Salem's Girls Academy.

Students from Hogwarts of the United Kingdom decided to take a risk and start a North American school. Paying homage to the founders of Hogwarts; the founders of The Biltmore School of Witchcraft and Wizardry created six house. All houses are a combination of two houses.

Each house has approximately four-hundred and ninety students; and seventy students per year.

History: Born in South Florida to pureblood parents; but, raised in the muggle world. At the begining of her sixth year, she became one of twelve prefects of the school. (VERY distantly related to the black family)

Twelves classes are available at the school. Transfigurations, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Charms, Potions, Astronomy, Hisotry of Magic, Herbology, Arithmancy, Ancient Runes, Divinition, Care of Magical Creatures, and Muggle Studies.

Six class are offered at different times every Monday/Wednesday and the other six class are offered at different times every Tuesday/Thursday.

Three day weekends.

CLASS: 9:30-10:45am (free period if no class is schedualed at this time)

LUNCH: 12:30pm-1:30pm
CLASS: 1:45pm-3:00pm (free period if no class is schedualed at this time)
CLASS: 3:15pm-4:30pm (free period if no class is schedualed at this time)
CLASS: 4:45pm-6:00pm (free period if no class is schedualed at this time)
DINNER: 6:15pm-7:45pm
CERFEW: 10:00pm
PREFECT PATROL: 10:00pm-11:00pm


In 6th/7th year classes that garnered an OUTSTANDING or EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS, in the O.W.Ls of 5th year, will be offered to the student as N.E.W.Ts.

A section of the library has a permanet spell cast on it were no magic is allowed to be performed. Electronics which would be completely useless because of too much concentrated magic is able to work in this area because of the no-magic-allowed spell. Research papers can be researched, typed up, and printed out here. ((Recommended for people with more than six classes)) **hand written papers get 5 extra credit points**

EYES: Grey-blue -- BUT can be golden-red if she’s distracted or surprised… or angry
HAIR: dark chestnut, down to her lower back. Always has the front braided back with a medicine wheel affixed at the top, and an eagle feather hanging from the middle of the medicine wheel. At Christmas she wears a braid of Sweet Grass (mother nature’s hair) braided into her own hair as well.

PERSONALITY: Quiet and mostly studious. Though she doesn’t often partake in the verbal element of the classes. Some people don’t even think she can talk. Easily offended if someone has something to say about her culture, or something to say about her appearance. Can, and will beat the snot out of her opponent physically… or through magic.

HISTORY: Born in Ontario Canada. At 11 she received the standard letter, which congratulated her for being accepted into the Biltmore House School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Since her 3rd year she has been an unregistered Animagus, being able to turn herself into a common red fox -- or in the winter (when wanting to escape the grounds for a while) an arctic fox - though before long the white fur falls off revealing the red and black fur - much to her dismay. She is not a registered Animagus (seeing as how at her age she shouldn’t have been able to learn it that fast…) and surly the Ministries of Magic, if they find out she’ll be fined and most likely she can’t afford that.

People frequently insult her when they think she isn’t listening…she doesn’t pay them much attention… though is most often insulted on either her weight, or about her race.

Wants to be an Auror, and is therefore in NEWT Potions, Transfiguration, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Charms, and Herbology.

HAIR: Jet black and down to her waist. She often wears her hair in stereotypical Chinese buns and lets her bangs hang down the side of her face.

PERSONALITY: Meiling is very calm and collected, and rarely loses her temper. She is highly intelligent, however, she believes in honour and will not brag. Meiling is also gentle.

HISTORY: Meiling was born in Hong Kong, lived there for several years, then moved to Nova Scotia, where her father had been born. At the age of 11, she received her letter of admitance to The Biltmore School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Highly excited, she could not wait until the start of term. Meiling is a pureblood. Her mother is the second cousin of the Chinese minister for magic, Hai Li Wong, and always wanted Meiling to attend the only witchcraft academy in China, but she received the letter for Biltmore first, and thus could not refuse.

Going into her OWL year, Meiling is taking all twelve courses.

PERSONALITY: Although a self proclaimed 'pretty boy', Jordan has all of the qualities of his house. He is, however, a pervert. But his intelligence and bravery is enough to make up for it.

HISTORY: Jordan grew up in Vancouver as a muggle born. When he got his letter, he was completely shocked. He wasn't always the way he is now, it started with his first crush. A girl in his year who rejected him in their third year. After that, he decided that he would spend the rest of his life chasing after random girls.
