"Broken" INTRO

Jane is an only child of 17. She lives with her mother and father in Port Royal, where her parents moved before Jane was born. Her father is a gentleman and so has no "profession". Her mother is always on some kind of trip to London, Paris, Ireland, etc. She hates Port Royal. She is almost never home.
Jane loves her home. Though it is often boring for a young girl with no siblings and few friends.
There are two people that make her days worthwhile; Kathleen and Charlie.

Kathleen has been Jane's best friend for as long as they can remember. They spend every day together; shopping, swimming, or just walking through the town. Kathleen is also 17. Her father is a gentleman and her mother is deceased. Kathleen has a gentle temper but is very stubborn.

Charlie is Jane's beau. He is 19. Ever since the two met each other, they have spent as much time together as possible. Charlie works in the Governor's stables and so is often busy. Charlie's biggest wish is to be a sailor and sail around the world. He tells Jane that he will marry her before he leaves Port Royal.

Also, there is Tom. Tom is 22 and once a sailor. He is very shy and likes to read. He also follows Jane and Kathleen around town. The girls don't mind him much, and often enjoy his company. Tom has a secret; he is in love with Jane. But Jane doesn't hardly notice him. Tom tries to tell her how he feels, but she is always distracted by Charlie.

The story begins with the departure of Jane's beloved Charlie. He has finally found a ship that will take him to all the places that he wishes to see. But he has not kept his promise to Jane. He leaves without marrying her, and so Jane is left alone with a broken heart that's not likely to mend. But something/someone will change her mind. Along with a bit of adventure, her heart will heal...

I could be Tom, and I don't mind being random Characters. lol. I do have an OC that lives in Tortuga (don't know if they'll ever end up in Tortuga, but if they do happen to go there, I can introduce my OC. Her name is Kendra Steelheart.) I'll go ahead and post a bio for my OC that way I don't have to do it later.

Name: Kendra Steelheart

Age: 25

Occupation: Bar Wench (meaning waitress) at the Faithful Bride Tavern

Personality: She has two different personalities. One for when she is at work/around drunks, and one which is her true personality. (no it's not split personality or schizophrenia, she just has to toughen up at work) Her true personality is that of a shy soft spoken woman who would much rather be ignored than be the center of attention. She does not do well in social settings if she does not know the people she is with and she would never speak out of turn or disagree with somebody because she hates confrontations. Her work personality is completely opposite of her true personality. At work she is saucy, loud and out spoken. If a drunk tries to touch her or makes lewd comments to her, she will give them a verbal tongue lashing and/or smack them (face &/or the offending hand trying to grab her). At work she is always the center of attention because she is constantly giving patrons of the tavern a tongue lashing or hitting them. She may be a bar wench but she is not a whore and refuses to be treated as one. Oh and she loves the ocean.

*Physical Description: She is 5'8" tall, she has really long blond hair. When she is working she has it pulled up in a cute updo, when she's not working she keeps it down. She is thin (but not anorexic looking) and has an hourglass figure (so big boobs, little waist, and medium/big hips). She only wears makeup for her job, in her personal life she hates makeup and dresses and all that girly stuff. (*pictures below)

History: Her mother was a Tortuan whore, and her father was one of her mother's many, many, many 'customers'. After her mother gave birth to her, her mother left her in a back ally. Luckily for Kendra, a kind (although drunk) pirate (somebody like Jack, but not Jack.) stumbled upon her and decided to take the little baby to his lady. She was raised by the nice lady and kind pirate, then when she was 18 she got the job she currently has now.

Aqua, you are allowed to do what you feel is right for Kathleen. She can be changed to whatever you think is right! :jig:
Mrs. Captain Jack Sparrow, I am very glad that you want to be Tom! Like I said above, you may make changes to his character. Whatever makes you feel more comfortable! And your other character, Kendra, could be very helpful! Even if they don't go to Tortuga, we could use her here. She could be another Kendra Steelheart.

Name: Zachary Matthews

Distinguishing marks: upside-down cross scar on right eye
Occupation: Swashbuckler
Background: Orphaned at a young age, Zachary has always been alone in the town of Port Royal. He has no family and must steal to make a living. That is what attracted Captain Leon Russel of the Black Scourge to Zack. He was brought onto the crew of the Black Scourge at 15 and has risen through the ranks rather quickly. During his time on the Black Scourge, he learned to become a decent fencer, which is how he came to have his upside-down cross scar. He was almost the captain's second in command, but the current second command didn't like Zack very much, so he thought he would get rid of him. A battle ensued on the deck of the ship and the second command was killed, but not without leaving a little piece of himself for Zack to remember him by. The upside down cross on his right eye. Zack has been living in Port Royal for one year now and has lived in a small house down by the sea, reminding him of his days as a pirate.
