Bridge of Love

Elizabeth smiled, leaning down and licking his sweet tasting lips. "You taste sweet," she smiled.

"I do?" asked Will shyly, giving her a quick lick on her lips as well. "So do you." he muttered with a smile.

Elizabeth smiled and leaned Will back in the couch. She brought his legs on the couch and placed them on her lap and then leaned forward and placed her head on his shoulder. "How do you feel now that we're engaged?" Elizabeth asked with a small smile, looking up at Will.

Returning her smile Will gave her a small kiss on her forehead. "I'm not sure if this this is real." he admitted, pulling Elizabeth's head against his neck. "I never thought things would turn out this way." he grinned, some of the excitement he'd felt earlier when he'd first awoken coming back. "I'm happy though."

"As am I," Elizabeth told him, snuggling up against him. "I never thought that I would get engage with you and not because I don't love you. I do love you, very much, Will. I just thought with others not wanting us to be together, I thought I wouldn't be engage to you."

"I believe that you love me." Will assured Elizabeth, listening to the wind that was starting to blow outside. It was picking up to a rather loud pace. "I just wish things were different." he said in a soft, sad voice. He pressed his face into her neck for a moment, shivering as the wind outside picked up to a higher pitch, howling in a eerie way. He was scared, for he knew what was in store for him; it was his destiny. Something maybe not even love could override. And no matter how much he tried to deny it nothing could conceal the truth. But she's my soul mate, how can she live without me? Will suddenly tilted his head to the side and latched his lips to Elizabeth's, kissing her in an almost frantic way, with more passion then he'd used in his entire life. I know I don't want to live without her. He was so afraid. He didn't want to leave her, she was his life, without her by his side the world would be a cold place. He tugged her flat against his stomach, groaning with the pain but only holding her tigher. Will was beyond caring about any phystical pain, beyond caring for anything but making the most of the last few moments he had with Elizabeth. When he finally released her he was panting hard and his arms were shaking slightly. "Time's almost up." he whispered softly.

"Will-" Elizabeth groaned at the kiss, finding his behavior quite unusual. She tried to pull away but found herself pushed up against his stomach. She shook her head and could only kiss him back in the same manner, wrapping her arms around his neck. Once he pulled away, Elizabeth starred at him, confused. "What do you mean?" Elizabeth asked, raising an eyebrow. "Will...what are you talking about? You're not leaving...are you?" She looked so hurt; tears were forming at the corner of her eyes.

Will felt Elizabeth's feeble attempt to pull away but he didn't let her. "It's my destiny Elizabeth." he muttered, his heart aching when she started to cry. "Elizabeth... don't cry, you've known it all along. I'm not going to leave you like that." he hugged her tightly. "I don't want to leave but I have to, I don't have any control over this." he licked the tears off her face. "I'll always love you."

Elizabeth shook her head, closing her eyes. "You can't leave, Will." More tears slide down her face. "If you go, then I'll go with you."

Will felt touched by her words, he couldn't believe she'd want to do that. He wanted her with him and for a moment he felt hope, and not nearly as scared as before. Maybe they could still be together... Will shook his head. "No Elizabeth, I can't let you..." he muttered though his resistence was weak at best. He wanted her with him so bad!
