Bridge of Love

Elizabeth smiled, though she seemed disappointed that Will called her 'Miss Swann'. She was not going to be 'Miss Swan' for long, she though. 'Mrs. Turner' sounded nice. Elizabeth walked behind Will and wrapped her arms around his neck, placing her chin on his shoulder. "I slept good," she said softly, nuzzling his neck. "Though I would of slept better if you were beside me." Elizabeth looked at Keno, silently asking if they could be alone.

Will smiled slightly and half closed his eyes. "I can't sleep." he muttered, kissing her wrist. He glanced around nervously, hoping no one had heard what Elizabeth had said. But so far he didn't see anyone close enough to have overheard.
Keno had turned his head so he was facing Elizabeth and caught her look, giving her a wink he jumped off Will's lap and gracefully walked off. Will watched him leave somewhat regretfully, wishing he hadn't left him alone with Elizabeth.

"Are you alright?" Elizabeth asked, seeing that Will seemed disappointed. "Did you wanted Keno to stay with you? Because...I don't wish to kiss you in front of him. He doesn't seem to take that kindly, you know." Elizabeth nuzzled his neck. "I just wished you would of have been with me, that way I could of gotten my hello kiss."

"Hmm, I'm okay." Will whispered, not wanting her to worry about him, after all worrying wasn't going to change anything. He felt bad wishing that Keno would have stayed so he didn't have to be alone with Elizabeth and he didn't want her to think that. "Well yeah, I mean he's comforting." Will wrapped his arms around her, licking his lips nervously. "He does approve of us, but I think kissing grosses him out a little."

Elizabeth laughed and nuzzled his neck once more. "Yes, but don't you like kissing me?" she teased, biting her lip. "But, if you just want Keno to be with you, then I can get him. I mean, I'm not all that important but I always believe you when you tell me that I am to you...am I important, Will?"

Will leaned his head back against Elizabeth's shoulder and sighed rather happily.. "Of course I like kissing you." he muttered softly. "I enjoy Keno's company, but you'll always be the most important thing to be. I promise." he looked at her for a moment. "If you want to be alone with me I won't complain."

"Do you want to be alone with me?" Elizabeth had to make sure. She didn't felt so important but the thought of marrying Will instantly perked her up, and people could get married on ships! "Will! We can get married on this ship," she grasped his hand. "Many captains do that and once we're married, James can't take me as his, my father can't pull me away because I'll be married to you and he'll respect that. He always respects that, even if I married someone that he doesn't quite think its a perfect match." Elizabeth smiled and leaned closer. "I think we're a perfect match, though. I love you so, so, so much, Will!"

"Yes... but." Will shook his head. "Shhh..." he whispered, he wanted nothing more then tell her how much he loved her back but he couldn't talk about the lump in his throat. He adored what she was saying be still felt too nervous.
"I don't know Elizabeth." he whispered, smiling at her slightly. "I mean... are you sure you want to marry me?"
He instantly felt guilty as she leaned closer, her words made him feel good and bad at the same time. "I love you too." he replied, gently stroking her cheek. "I've always loved you, very, very much."

"I want to be married to you more than anything," she whispered, closing her eyes as he caressed her cheek, finding it soothing. "My father...James...they won't be able to take me away from you. I never want to part from you. Don't you want to marry me, Will? Have I said something that upset you?" Elizabeth sighed and rubbed his shoulders, and to his chest. "I know I had hurt you many times and I must be so horrible to you. But I never meant it and Im love you so much, Will. Remember our wedding that was interrupted? We can have a wedding again and actually get married. On this ship-now."

"I do want to marry you Elizabeth... you have no idea how much." Will whispered, sighing in pleasure at her touch, she hadn't done that stuff in seemingly a very long time. "But I can't, I don't have the strength to fight for you anymore, to wonder what you're going to do next, to keep trying no matter how many times you push me away." Will looked away, oh how much his heart hurt! "I love you more then life itself..." he faltered, his voice sounding shakily, "and I would rather die then live without you, but you've hurt me so much I can't handle it anymore." Will only relax a little bit as Elizabeth rubbed his shoulders. He felt like his spirit had been broken, all the vigor he normally felt was, at the moment anyway, completely gone. He was tried of having to fight for her all the time, he just wanted things to work out! "I just want you do be happy." he whispered in a very soft voice. Will reached out and very gently trailed his finger tips down her sides, acting like he was touching a butterfly. "I love you so, so much." he whimpered. "But I can only take so much pain, even from you."
