I'm on the Pearl that morning, keeping a weather eye on the horizon impatiently, and occasionally pacing around the deck. "What's takin' 'em so bloody long?" I wonder. I'm pretty certain that Norrington's death will postpone the marriage.. so, that's not the issue. The issue is that they'll be looking for the one who's done it, and thus end up finding the Pearl if these other pirates don't interupt soon enough!
"What's got you so fixed, captain?" Gibbs asks good naturedly, as he watches Jack pace around another time.
I turn to look at him, "What's got me fixed?" I ask, obviously not at ease. I take a breath and then explain it all in that very same breath, rambling so fast he can't possibly keep up with the story; "Could it possibly be that our mutual friend Bootstrap Bill Turner once very long ago send a certain key or whatsoever to his son in England which Will undoubtedly carried on his person and I happen to have told this bunch of pirates 'bout said key to escape their fury when I had nearly and very accidently destructed their fleet one-handedly and they caught me afterwards - so I traded the treasure that said key leads to in exchange fer me life and that now these pirates are taking a BLOODY long time to redeem me from killing the commadore?" I take a breath, and look at Gibbs questioningly.
Gibbs is one big frown though.. and he shrugs his shoulders. "Rum, captain?" He offers, not knowing what the hell is going on still.
"If you please, mister Gibbs" I confirm, and I go to the railing with my spyglass as he goes to the galley.
