Still not letting go of her hand, I give it a little squeeze. This is it, then. The point of no return. We've played our parts.. we have loved, laughed and lived together. On the darker side, I have wished I could've hated her.. she had broken her promises. But somehow all of that seems to be unimportant, now that I'm losing a bit of treasure that's ...not silver ...nor gold ... but in the form of a divine girl who managed to make my heart beat twice as fast.
"..forever." I tell her, finally letting go of her hand and with that burning the bridges behind us. Destructing our only way back to what we had.

"Forever.." I whisper and it seems like in a slowmotion to me, that he lets go off my hand. The only bridge we had between us, is broken into two now.
It feels like my heart is thorn apart.. like it crashes into thousant pieces..
I straighten my back and take a deep breath, though the corners of my mouth twitch a little, having a hard time not to show how I feel.

(I was teary eyed last night  Lol, poor Jack.. having to go through this AGAIN with Scarlett! *huggles her poor pirate*) "..I'll ask someone else to escort us back to the ship." I suggest, cos now that we DID say goodbye properly, I suppose we couldn't have done it any better than this. |

As we make our way back towards the palace to find Scarlett, I only just surpress the urge to take her hand in mine on the way. It would feel so natural - but now so.. useless, I suppose.
