And without a word to stop her, I let her walk out like that. I lean back in my chair and sigh, before taking a swig of rum. I suppose the ghosts of the past will always come back to haunt you at some point. Whether it's in nightmares, revengeful enemies or your girl walking out on you.. they always do.

(ta! ) Once I left the Galley, I make my way ondecks and sit down on the rigging on the frond side of the ship.. dont ask me how that is called, since I dont even know *that*. I watch the sky turn darker and feel sad all of the sudden. I want him to be able to trust me.. and to know that he can tell me, no matter what.. I hate it that he just said "I got taught cartography a rather long time ago, Ana... I don't see what it would add to talk about." To him it might not add a thing.. but I just noticed I do not know anything about him. Captain Jack Sparrow.. ya might have heared of it in these times.. but still.. nothing more then fairytales.. rumours...

(Awww, mooie post! ;D Had je nog een idee over t verhaal? If yes, pm? ;D )
Maybe she'll forget 'bout it soon enough. I think hopefully, before returning updecks as well. I take a glance at Ana by the bowspirit, and then saunter over to the helm. Time'll fix it. I hope.

Somewhat later I decide it's time to find out whether Ana's already forgotten why she walked out on me. I mean, a man can hope right? So I come up to her and sit down on the railing nearby, "Enjoyin' the view, luv?"

Of course I didn't forget any of it. It kinda keeps spinning through my mind. What did he do.. that he doesnt want to tell me? I just nod when he asks me and dont even turn my head to him.

"Are ye mad at me?" I ask, resting my gaze on her.

I look to the horizon, realizing that even that answer doesn't mean we're okay or anything. "Ana.. What's wrong?" I ask therefore. I want this cleared up - preferably now.

Does he not even notice it...? I stare at the sun dissapearing entirely behind the horizon. The last piece of sunlight reflects on the water.. Somehow does this beautiful sign make me feel more empty from inside. "with me..? nothing jack"
