He interupted their little quarrel, he was riding infront of them so he raised his voice slightly;
"Liz, how many hours off work do we get now after doing this little venture, you think? I'd say we should get the rest of the week off...paid vacation"

I shoot Van Helsing one more dirty look, since I really don't like the way he talks to Rain before turning to Matt.

Van Helsing reached out to Rain's horse and slowed them both down.
"Why are we slowing down?" Rain frowned.
"Because I want to keep my eyes on those two." He spoke quietly, nodding to Liz and Matt.
