Time and Tide

[Nikki]

"Ah, I see. 'Night then," I say, pretending to be cheerful about it, already distracted by several things and planning to go find Cassandra soon.

[Jacky]

"Good!" I say, sounding just as cheerfull if not cheerfuller.. if that's a word. I flash her a golden grin and retreat from her cabin, bringing myself updecks.

[Daz]

I look at the sea for a while longer before heading along to the tortugan docks for a drink

[Jacky]

Seeing Cassandra leave the ship, I tactfully decide not to. I like me ship. Ship's safe.

[Nikki]

I hurry updecks after Jack leaves, but spot Cassandra going back into town. I'm not to keen on following her, myself. Oh well, there will be plenty of time for that. Turning around, I see Jack, but don't want to get involved with that conversation, either. Sadly I find myself retreating to be alone again, back to the safe confines of my bunks.

[Daz]

I grab a jug of rum and sit by a bar.. snapping at all of the drunken men that try to talk.. or touch me

[Jacky]

~The next day, at dawn?~

[Nikki]

(I hear ya )

I wake up and almost immediately go back to sleep for some unknown fear of getting up. Once I clear my mind enough, I lay there, trying to pinpoint my reluctance. Ah, Cassandra. Making amends, the whole nine yards. I shrug, dressing methodically and going through my daily routine with not much care.

[Daz]

Ive fallen asleep somewhere outside the tavern last night.. so I wake up, rather uncomfortable.. heading back to the Pearl

[Jacky]

I'm updecks, ordering them crew around to get the Pearl sailin' out in the open again. Things are running pretty smoothly.. and I half hope Cassandra'll miss her cue and we can head of without her after all.
