Marie was not faking.
Marie gasped for air; her face paleing and taking on a blue-ish tint. She gasped for air as she swayed back and forth. She tripped over the gangplank; but, fell through the gap, where the gangplank is lowered, right as she lost consciousness. The second she hit the water, the wind started to pick up.
