In her sleep, May muttered a word, "...dragon..."
The crew started to whisper; not knowing what she was talking about...

Jack gave up looking, but suddenly got inturpted by one of the crew barging in and speaking of May and dragon. "Ok, man, chill - she has a ... a ... a um ... disorder. Yes, yes a disorder. That's right a disorder." Jack hesitated, then shooed him out. "Now go do some - things. Leave me." He then closed the door and looked through the contents, finnaly seeing something about Dragons, he flicked through the book to reach that page.

May let out a blood curdling scream as she was thrown off the ship by one of the crew members; the crew member thought the mentally insane where dangerous and took it upon himself to rid them all of bad luck.
May surfaced spitting up water; yelling with all to colorful words...

Belle, who had been at the wheel as Jack had ordered, looked over in the direction May's scream had come from. She could barely hear her scream over the waves so for a moment, she didn't move. But as many of the crew members clambered over to the edge to see what was going on, she ordered the nearest crew member to take over for her.
She ran over to the edge where she saw May struggling in the waves. As quickly as she could, Belle ran over to Jack's captains quarters, banged on the door to warn him, then barged in. She was almost out of breath as she shouted, "Cap'n May's gone overboard. It was one of the crew..."

May struggled to stay afloat; her legs had been tied. She kicked her legs in unison much like to a mermaid.

Jack stamered around for a bit, then sent his book flying in the air. He looked at Belle, then sharply spoke. "Well - don't just stand there! Jump in! Get her back !!" Jack said, gesturing wildly again.

Belle's eyes widened. What did he expect her to do? Jump into the middle of the ocean to save some girl who she hardley knew? She didn't even know what purpose Jack saw she served on the ship. She stood still in the doorway. "Aren't you comming? Obviously she serves some purpose to you...maybe I would be of more help if I knew what she was here for in the first place..."

Jack scowled and growled lowly at her, then rolled his eyes. "Will you please give that god damn thing a rest! Jeez!" Jack stated, then stood up and pushed his way past her. He then pushed aside all the crowd on deck, and ordered them to tie a rope around his waist as soon as he took off all his affects.

Belle was huffing. What was his deal? If he was going to rub it in all of their faces, he might as well tell her. Belle was quite a headstrong girl, and was not going to give up all that easily.
"God dammit Jack!" She shouted, pushing through the crew that surrounded him as he was getting ready for the plunge. She noticed the rest of the crew looking at her, surprised. "Listen, if you want me to, I'll jump, I'll save her for you...and you can keep your precious information all to yourself!" She snatched a nearby length of rope off a crate, tied it around her thin waste, flung the other end to a burly pirate nearby, and sat on the rail of the Pearl, ready to jump. "I'll do it if you want me too..."

"Be my guest ..." Jack hastilly said, whislst wavering his arm gesturing at the water. He leaned over to one side as he spoke, putting the other hand not gesturing on his hip.
