May was a captive aboard a lone pirate ship; sailing a little too close to Port Royal. She had managed to break free of her small, cramped cell; running up onto the deck. Keeping to the shadows of the night; out of the sight of the skeleton crew (the night shift crew). She ran, and jumped over the railing of the ship. She swam as hard as she could into the Port Royal Bay.
An hour later she pulled herself onto the deck. She explained what happened to a nearby officer; though, saying nothing of the prophecy. The officer took pity and believed she would be safer in a jail cell and guarded.
May sat huddled in a corner of yet another small cramped hail cell. Trying to sleep.

In the next jail cell a man, dressed in ragged black and red clothing and boots sat staring at the opposite wall. He looked up when the officer came and put May into the cell next to his. When the officer left he, Nikolai, crawled over to the bars separating the cells. She was in the corner close to him. Not realizing she was trying to sleep and thinking she was just scared, he reached through and poked her
"Hey you okay?"

May mummbled something incoherently; half asleep. She shifted, but didn't wake up.

"OW!" May bolted into a sitting positon, "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" She glared at him. Royaly pissed off from being woken up.

Nikolai blushed...well...actually he was so pale that he couldn't blush...but it showed in his eyes
