The man glared, "So be it-- Though I know Calypso wouldn't be too happy to be awakened. The goddesses wrath is already showing all around us!" The man snarled; not realising that Xan WAS Calypso.
Xan's head snapped up at the man as he started to walk away. A fire in her eyes as she glared at him. He was going to meet his doom soon enough. Calypso had been fully awakened; a split personality with Xan.

Xan nodded; her eyes still on the man who tried to kill her. Suddenly a lightning bolt shot from the sky, threw a window, and threw the man. As the lightning disappeared crabs filled the house and crawled up stairs. She watched the crabs as they came back down like waves; carrying the old chest.
"Is that the chest you were talking about?"
A carb fell over and was on it's back; kicking it's legs helplessly.

Tears pricked at his eyes sorrowfully... He picked the chest up and set his ear to the chest... hearing the soft lub-dub of a beating heart inside... he beckoned Xanthe, to put her ear to the chest... to listen...

Xan cautiously put her ear to it; then jumped back. "Dude...so there IS a beating heart in there... eh... sorry about kicking the chest..."
