"What a gentleman... what a pirate." Vega winked and went out after him, quite a bit shorter than him. She'd always been short when it came to pirates, but she had the tendency to make it up in other aspects of pirating.

He walked over to the docks and gestured towards the second biggest ship that was docked there "There's the beauty!" he walked towards his ship

Vega's brows went up in surprise, not expecting it to actually be a nice ship-- it was. "What do you call her? What's her strengths? Weaknesses?" She started to question right away.

"She's 'Neptune'. She's a dream to be sailing, takes you out of any storm basically, she's been with me for years" he gazed up at the ship with a grin

I glare as they all walks outside. There's no need joining the voyage for the people. That girl certainly seems stupid and immature. No way in hell she'll ever make a good captain, too stupid for that. But the lad seems a bit more bright.

"How fast is she?" Will asks Hunter once he caught up with them. Every sailor was pretty much in love with his ship, so it was no surprise that Hunter was aswell. Therefor some facts would be good.

(I have no fucking clue about ships speeds, I just make something up, bare with me ) "About 35 knots" he replies to the man who joins them, he looks between him and Vega and figures they're a team

"Ah.." Will nods since it is kinda fast. Not the fastest ship in the caribbean of course, but they will have to take it, since the other ships are most likely far slower.

Vega was studying the ship with sharp eyes, but a lazy posture. "Tis nice. Looks in good condition. Won't know 'til we take it for a ride." She winked, "But 'ey, I think you might be our new Captain, Captain." She tipped her hat towards him slightly, then went back to looking at the ship.

((I'm assuming it's nighttime, right now. Correct me if you intended otherwise))
Out of the silence of the dark night, a shot rang out. And then another. And then shouts mingled with the crackle of musketry in the night. The glow of flame from the barrels of the firearms began to be seen through the blackness. And then the shouts became distinct. "It's Matchlock Morgan boys, there's 9,700 guineas for 'is head there 'is." a snide, and unpleasant voice called out. Soon, the clatter of boots on wood approached the small group standing by the Neptune. Morgan Barret Aubrey, Matchlock Morgan, came barrelling out of the night at a sprint, 12 members of his crew coming behind him. They carried cutlasses, hatchets and muskets. Pursuing them came at least 30 more pirates, armed with a variety of swords, clubs, hatchets and other, stranger weapons. "Get the rocket, Calamy, get the rocket!" Morgan barked out his order to one of his crewmen, his voice tinged with a slight Scottish touch, as the rest of them held back the bounty-hungry pirates with barrages of musket-fire. Calamy dropped a sack down on the ground and pulled out a long tube, with a head shaped like a roaring dragon. "That vendor in Singapore better have been right Cap'n" Calamy said, as he struck a match and placed near the fuse of the tube. Gunpowder sparked and spat, and the rocket went flying through the air, illuminating the harbour with red light. Farther out on the water, a frigate began to move. A painted stripe of gold midway down either broadside identified the ship, the Golden Eagle. Her gunports opened, and 15 cannons were rolled out. Orders were roared, and the guns began to fire. Cannon fire boomed, awakening Tortuga, before the solid steel shots smashed through houses and buildings, whilst heated shot set fire to taverns and storehouses. The bounty hunters retreated, as a 9lb ball smashed through the wharf between them and Morgan's crew. "Let that teach you to interfere with Matchlock Morgan!" The Captain called after them, brandishing his sabre in defiance. Just then, he noticed a small group of young folks, two men and a girl, standing to the side of a galleon, whose nameplate read "Neptune" "Greetings, and what might be the identity of you three dubious personae?" Morgan asked, sheathing his sword, and delighted as always to use his extensive vocabulary.
