Vanessa got up to her feet, not realizing how dizzy she was.
"I should maybe... tell my brother..."
She looked around for Dominic.
"No, if I thought Selene was easy I wouldn't go after her at all."

He was cute like this, he kissed me, I liked him from the start
But he's a friend, just as Jamie and Ralphie, all guys that I like that I can't be with
Besides I like Les, might even be in love with him, an dLes can bring me further into the maffia bussiness..

I wasn't going to go easy on him now, maybe partially because I needed a good excuse not to like him back. Afterall he had my attention the first time I saw him, so did Jamie. But they were both friends and it was just off-limit to me, something friends shouldn't be doing, something that could ruin our whole groupthing.. Besides, I made myself look at Dominic and the other guys as brothers, how could someone be involved with their own brother? he's not technically my brother, he's too attractive for that .."You know what, I'm gonna go back to the pub, to the man that I like, that I'm in love with and with whom I want to get involved with.
