Katie walked on the dock. Some fellow pirates greeted her as she walked by. She was well known around the island. Her position was one of a leader. Most pirates respected her, those who didn't would learn their lesson. Several pirates just liked her for her looks, but she payed no mind to them. She was never interested.
Today she was on a slight adventure. She was seeking a crew to find a lost treasure with her. She arrived at the tavern and sat down at a table with a sign-up sheet. All were welcome to join her crew, but most of them wouldn't come back alive.

As soon as Scarlett saw Katie she knew what she was there for. She was gathering up a crew. She didn't mind signing up since she'd been on her crew before and she rather enjoyed it. They were two of the most powerful women on the high seas. Scarlett strolled over.
"Well I hope no one else has signed up to be captains assistant yet,"she began with a smirk,"because if so I'm going to be very dissapointed. "
Scarlett took the pen and signed her name.

Katie laughed. "Of course not! If someone did I would make them pay! So far the position is open!" She remembered Scarlett from way back. She had always enjoyed having her on her crew. "This time were setting sail for the Fountain of Youth. Ol'Jack hasn't found it yet. Maybe we'll beat him too it!"

Scarlett froze for a moment. She hadn't thought of Jack Sparrow in a while and that was probably a good thing.
"Not maybe. We will."she laughed."So how is the list coming along?"

"A lot of men have signed up. They all gave me one look and didn't dare sign up for assistant! Their scared to death of me, but they want adventure, so they signed up anyway. All we have so far is 20 including you." Katie started to look at the list. A few more people and they would be set.

"As always he tried to make a move on me... And any other cute girl in sight... So I've slapped him around once or twice. He's asked about you a few times as well." Katie grinned. She knew Scarlett liked Jack so this was becoming fun.

Scarlett smiled. She had met Jack so long ago, for a while he was one of her best friends. "Really?Well anyway, I've been exploring a bit. I even ran into his friend, Mr. Gibbs.Poor bloke has gone back to sleeping with pigs.So what about you?"Scarlett asked with an iquiring smile.

"The same really. Men around here never stop bugging me though... It gets so annoying! They never give up... Other then that I've just been sailing the seas." Katie leaned back in her chai and watched as people talked to each other.

"I know what you mean,"Scarlett said,"I've had to show my gun in plain sight where ever I go now."Scarlett took a swig of rum."This list isn't coming along fast enough!"Scarlett took and stood up on the table."Oi!Who wants free rum?"she yelled swinging the bottle in their faces."All you have to do is sign up for our crew!" A stampeed of men came to the table begging to sign. She smiled.
