Katie heard someone come onto her ship. "Not again..." Slowly she walked out of the captains quarters and spotted Elizabeth. Oh great... more people... She then saw Jack and Scarlett having a moment "Wow Scarlett! That's a big twist in your love-life!"

Scarlett pulled away at the sound of Katie's voice.She smiled at Jack."Oh shut up Katie!You ruined my moment!"she yelled playfully.She then wrapped her arms around Jack andkissed him again.

"That's what I'm here for!" She winced a little as blood dripped from her shoulder. The wound had reopened. Not good! She quickly covered it up with her jacket and smiled as Little Jack jumped onto her other shoulder. She whispered in his ear and he took off, grabbed Jack's hat, and came back to her. "Such a good little monkey!" She then put the hat on.

"Katie give me hat back, savvy?"Jack said looking like he wanted to shoot her.
Scarlett laughed as Katie ran throughout the ship with Jack close at her tail.She thought of the kiss and knew it wasn't a fling.They were meant to be together.

Katie laughed as she ran across the deck of the ship. "You'll never catch me you ol'crouch!" She was much faster than Jack and seemed to be picking up speed. She was about to make a turn around some barrels, but froze in her tracks. A sharp pain shot though her shoulder, into her arm, and through her whole body. A warm liquid ran down her arm, and dripped of her fingers. Blood... The wound had ripped open even more, and was overflowing with blood. She began to feel light headed and passed out. The last thing she saw was Jack bending over her saying something, but she couldn't hear anything... Then everything went black.

Elizabeth didn't mind. After all, she and Scarlett were like sisters. Scarlett and Jack were soulmates, and Elizabeth and Jack were soulmates too. And oddly enough, Scarlett didn't mind, but she'd shoot anyone else.
I saw that Scarlett and Jack were busy...alright...as this was normal, I could wait a night...to tell him what was after him.

Scarlett limped as fast as she could after Katie.She was blacked out."Jack we need to go back."she said in desperation.Katie and Scarlett had been through everything together and she couldn't bear to lose her.

Jack was hesitating. "Go where? If you mean the doctor, it would take us hours, and by then she could be... well... you know what I mean!"
Katie's body was limp. All she could see was darkness, and a warm feeling. Slowly it got brighter and brighter, and someone called out to her. Who was it? She couldn't remember. Scarlett? Was Scarlett talking to someone? Jack... Slowly she remembered her friends. She started to fight the darkness. She wasn't about to give up and die! Not a chance!

Scarlett became furious."Then what do you propose we do?"she yelled, instantly regreting it,"I-I'm sorry Jack I'm just so worried."
"It's okay love,"Jack said, putting his hand on the small of her back,"She'll fight it and she'll come through, I promise."A tear came down Scarlett's flawless face.Jack pulled her close.

Katie was still in complete darkness. She felt like she was floating. She could hear Jack talking but couldn't understand. "Stupid Jack..." she mumbled under her breath. She then fell back to darkness. She tried her best to try and open her eyes, but they were heavy, and wouldn't move. She was trapped in the black terrain.
