Lilyanne squeezed his hand tight in hers. She did not plan to release his hand. The darkness was as thick as the weather was humid. Sweat was dripping to her eyes, but she kept silent and followed the fast steps of Lord Beckett.

::Cutler could hear the rats running for the sewers, the smell was sickening, they were in half-light, in the distance he could see a light, it was the exit to the freedom, but to come even that light had to cross to another side and for that they had to cross a small river of dirty water. He stopped and looked at her for her between the darkness, only his voice was heard between the silence:: "Do you trust in me, Lilyanne? ":: He asked her approaching more her.

She felt him come closer and ask "Do you trust me Lilyanne?" She didn't trust anyone, but herself. But for some odd reason she found that she trusted Beckett. "With my life" she answered him, her voice sure and strong. And more than anything she wanted out of the sewers. She didn't mind the rats, but the smell was sickening.

:: Beckett, for a few moments remained without speaking when it heard his words that it was known that they were sincere, very sincere. Alone sighed out and determined, without saying anything more, surrounded the sword to his belt and with a rapid movement raised her in his arms to cross the river of dirty water of the sewer:: " Now, do not be scared, Lillyanne, the a little in a mess this watercourse "::Said to her without her looking at the eyes, feeling his beautiful body along with his, feeling the perspiration to slide for his back::

Belsamuel slowly creeps across the deck, thanking the Lady Luck that the sailors have already mostly drunken themselves unconscious this night, and the ones that haven't have gone into town to find some female companionship. He holds Marie's hand tightly, to lose her in this moonless night may be fatal.
"Now M'lady. I know you usually don't like me, but for now you have to trust me!" He whispers, letting out a sigh when she nods her head silently.
He turns to the rail and peers over the edge.....SHIT......the gangplank is up!

She was surprised how easily Cutler lifted her. 'Nice strong arms' she thought. She could feel his body against hers and some naughty thoughts entered her head, despite the situation. 'I hope he never lets go' she thought before answering him. "I am not afraid, you are with me."

:: Lord Beckett looked at her before beginning to cross the river of dirty water and a smile appeared in his sensual lips. It took her with more force between his arms and with steadfastness it was interfering in the deep river. Carefully so that both were not falling down to the water and the current will always take them. He felt in his strong legs as the frozen water it was getting in his skin, in his bones, he pressed his teeth feeling shakes but this did not make him stop, kept on crossing the river of the sewer with her in arms::

Think think think!!!! What the hell to do???
I could get down easily but Miss Beckett I'm not so sure..... she probably could, but without alerting anyone? She's a high born lady, not a sewer rat like I used to be. I'll just have to wait....hopefully a friend comes by before anyone wakes up...... maybe Beckett will even come back to check on me......although I doubt it! Where the HELL is that Lady Pirate that was in there?

Thankfully the river in the sewer wasn't wide and they had quickly crossed it. Beckett put her down, but kept his arms around her for awhile. "You are shaking Cutler" she whispered. "We must get you warm and soon, and a glass of brandy".

Belsamuel glances a look behind him. Hearing sounds in the dark is not good for one's nerves. Bloody boats! How can anyone work on them let alone live on 'em! He looks to the docks, hoping for a sign of a familiar face.....anybody for god's sake! He knew he should have been making more friends!
