Jack rushed to Scarlett and wrenched her away from Belsamuel. "Darling I'm sure he didn't do it on purpose."he practically pleaded.He grabbed her behind her waist and, with great difficulty, pulled the gun out of her grasp.

While the two on the Pearl were trying to escape from certain death, the two in the sewers we climbing up to an alley and using the shadows as their cover, they slowly made their way to Cutler's manor.

"Cutler..." she started, but he had already gone back. 'I hope that he will come out of it alive.' she looked after him for awhile and then turned to Groves, who was back in his uniform. "Lt. Groves, I would like a cup of tea and some clothes to change into. Clothes that don't smell like sewers."
Groves looked at her. So different from the woman that he had danced with earlier. "Yes, my lady." He offered her his arm and escorted her into the waiting carriage. He went in with her, he was after all been given the orders to protect her with his life.

Aha, yes correct Jack, but a deatil....I did not set free your prisoners.... that wasn't me.....and she....well....**conspiriatorial whisper**.....she's not all there methinks! No, I actually came here tonight to talk business. Saving my Lady here was but a side detour.... That Lady Pirate was down in your brig with a sword to Lady Newcastle's throat when I got there. No, I am here to offer my services....and from this vantage point of the gun barrel, I think a discount in my fees is in order!

Belsamuel pulls a bottle of rum from his cloak, standing and giving it to Jack while making a motion to Marie to stay seated and quiet...
"But one of the reasons of my fame....if you want it, I have it... Now, business......think now Miss Scarlett.... what is it that both you and illustrious Jack want, but not even you have a chance of getting your nimble fingers at?"
