With no response, Devyn's attitude rose and she headed down through the companionway, quite a brave thing to do when she had no visible weapons on her, wearing a revealing dress and gloves, much more-- packed with a fair share of diamonds. "Sparrow?" She kept calling as she wondered the halls, one hand on her hip and the other pushing open doors. "Sparrow, you ought to not be hiding from me! I didn't mean to break your nose last time.... not really at least."

:: He was feeling as little by little the eyes they were weighing him, he began to feel the weariness that was taking possession of his body and without being able to avoid it, it closed the eyes, his head fell down slowly on the head of her allowing to rub his lips on his front. Fall down asleep , hoping that his soldiers should rescue him and to her::

Devyn made her way to the brig and paused upon entering, noticing the white dress on the woman at first and recognizing her immediately from the masquerade. "Well, well, well, what a curious thing." She smirked at the way they were leaned against one another.

Scarlett sat up at the familiar voice."Devyn?"she asked. She shook Jack awake to greet the old friend.
Jack's eyes widened. He touched his nose, remembering last time."Devyn what do you want?"he asked bitterly.

Hidden in shadow, she observed the pirates with intense concentration. Silently, she waited for the opportune moment, the one precious second that would see her safely to the brig. Her name was simply Marie Beckett, no longer attached to the title of Lady. Only Beckett remained, the ever presence reminder of a short, now distant marriage. Time had healed any wounds he had caused her, no longer did the sight of him with other woman tear her apart.
She knew Lady Lilyanne only through sight and reputation, and was glad that of any woman, Cutler had chosen her. From behind her ornate mask, she had watched the subtle kidnap and had followed, any reason being replaced by the urge to do one last thing in the favor of the man she loved.
In a flash of a second she moved, her ball gown barely hissing across the rough wooden panels of the deck. As the entrance to the brig grew ever near, her hand tightened around a concealed knife - a necessity if you held the name Beckett. With a last look for danger, she threw herself into the darkness that was the brig.

Lilyanne woke suddenly. She has a curious feeling in her gut and she always trusted her gut. Silently she woke Cutler, hoping that they had not alerted the pirates. She told him to be silent and wait, ready to act if need be. But they had to remain the way they were, acting sleep while they were wide awake.

The brig was black as pitch, permeated only by a thin shard of light peeking through a loose board. Marie snuck down the stairs, trying to alert neither the pirates nor the individuals she was seeking to rescue. The intense smell of the brig hit her like a slap to the face, but she could not utter a hiss of disgust. Silence was a virtue
With a wily frown, she peered into the occupied cell. Lady Lilyanne had rested her head on Cutler. Fighting back a feirce stab of jealousy, Marie was affronted with the task before her...how was she to set them free?

While the pirates were talking with each other, Lilyanne noticed the shadows moving from under her eyelashes. She felt another presence in the brig, not as malevolent as the pirates, but not a benevolent either.

:: Cutler Beckett opened the eyes for the moment when it heard the softly words of Lilyanne. He did not move, only it paid attention to the conversation of the pirates, swearing that very soon his necks would be surrounded by a sooge. He was immobile, dont stop embracing her, it could not move, now only he could listen, nothing more. His eyes stuck in the pirates, fixedly and his lips even were rubbing the front of Lilyanne. But he did not know that there his wife had come in his search. Marie, his Marie, had always been his in the past, it disappeared appear again in the present::

The atmosphere changed, she knew they were aware of her presence, but whether to speak, she did not know. What would Cutler think - such a figure, returning from his past? Would he believe her to be seeking revenge for his multiple infidelities. No, she decided, she would let them decide who spoke first. She was a mere tool, she would let them go. She would be their unknown guardian until the end.
