"No girlfriends, no dogs. Just me... and you now. The CIA pays well. I had this place built from the ground up as sort of a retreat for after missions." Sands said as he pushed a button on the garage door opener he had in the car. The door opened to reveal a 20 car garage that was about 1/2 full of expensive SUV's, sports cars and trucks. "Go ahead and park in the garage." Sands said. He knew she was shocked as she drove into the garage. Once she turned off the car, Sands got out and extended his cane. It had been three years since he stepped foot in his house and he couldn't exactly remember how clean he left it. Sands pushed a button on the wall to close the garage door and then walked up a few stairs to a door. He punched in a number code on the door to unlock it and opened the door when he heard it click. He held the door open for Selina.
"Welcome to my humble abode."

Selina stepped inside, her mouth hanging open with awe. She'd thought her apartment was quite a good size but it probably wasnt even as big as Sands bathroom. It was relativley open planned with nice views from huge floor to ceiling windows in his living room. Shame he wont be able to see the views anymore, she thought sullenly as she wandered around the house. Against one wall she saw her suitcases stacked next to a few boxes, presumably Sands things from Mexico. "Wow, the CIA work quickly," She said to herself as she checked her bags were all there, they were.

Sands gave her the grand tour and showed her all the bedrooms. "Pick whatever one you like, just let me know which one. Most have their own bathroom too." Sands told her when they made it back to the living room.
Sands, now knowing he left the house clean of clutter, put away his cane and plopped down on the couch, feeling on the end table for the remote. Soon his fingers grasped the object they were searching for and clicked on the TV. Sands flipped through the channels until he heard South Park. He put the remote down on his theigh and leaned back listening to the show.

Selina picked up her bags and took them into the bedroom at the back corner of the house. She unpacked a few of her clothes and hung them in the waredrobe. She didnt want to unpack too much because she didnt know how long she'd be there for.
She walked back out into the living room and saw Sands sitting in front of the tv with his head back. "Urm ..." She muttered, not wanting to make him jump, "Do you mind if I take a bath? I'm still covered in blood ..."

"Oh... go ahead... I'm gonna make something to eat, I'll make enough for both of us. Hopefully the company has stocked my fridge with new food... if not I'll just order pizza or something." Sands told her then went to the kitchen in search of something to eat.
Before he left for Mexico he had cleared out all the food that would spoil and grow moldy, knowing when it was time for him to come back the company would come in and stock his cupboards again. He opened his fridge and felt around, but came up with nothing. It was still as he had left it 3 years ago. 'Well, pizza it is then.' He thought as he found the phone and called Domino's. He ordered a large Hawiian Pizza and a two liter of Root Beer. After he hung up the phone he went back to the couch in the living room and laid down, resting his head on the arm of the couch as he listened to the TV.

Selina started the water running in the bath and then went back into her room to find some clothes to change into. She picked out a pair of black jeans and a light blue tank top. She put the clothes next to the bath, took her dress off and climbed into the warm bath.
As she lay in the bath the days events were running through her head, nothing felt real anymore. She kept thinking she would open her eyes and she'd still be huddled in the back corner of the grotty cafe, trying to stay out of site of the soldiers. She worked out her room was directly above the living room. She could hear the sound of the tv coming through the floorboard.
After about ten minutes she heard the doorbell ring and presumed Sands had ordered in instead of cooking. She got dried and dressed and went to help him with the food.

Sands, making sure his shades were snug against his face even though he still had the bandages wrapped around his face, waked over to the front door with a gun in hand.
"Who is it?" Sands asked through the door.
"Domino's." A young teenage boy's voice answered.
Sands tucked the gun in his waist band behind his back before unlocking the door and opening it for the kid.
"Can I see the credit card you ordered with please?" The kid asked.
"Yeah." Sands said pulling the card out of his pocket handing it to the kid. He heard a scratching noise and figured the kid was transfering the last few digits on to the receipt to verify the card number. Then he handed the card back to Sands.
"If you could just sign here." He said. If Sands had eyes, he would be rolling them at the kid as he imagined he was holding a pen and receipt in Sands' direction. Sands reached out and took the pen from the kid.
"You're not the brightest crayon in the box are you? I'm blind, fuckmook. You'll need to guide my hand and the pen to the line I'm supposed to sign on." Sands said shaking his head at the kid's idiocy.
"Oh... yeah okay. Do you have a hard surface near by?"
Sands snatched the receipt from the kid placing it down on an end table near the door. "Alright now put my hand where it should go." Sands growled at the kid. The kid cautiously put his hand on Sands' and guided it towards the paper so the pen tip was resting on the line. Sands quickly signed his name, careful not to run off the paper. Surprisingly he signed in a straightish line as if he wasn't blind. The kid took the reciept and handed Sands the pizza and bottle of pop before scurrying off.
Sands used his foot to close the door before going to the kitchen, putting down the box of pizza and soda bottle on the counter. Sands went back to the door and locked it before returning to the pizza.

"Anything I can help with?" Selina stood in the kitchen doorway, drying her hair with a towel. She'd heard Sands shouting at the kid and thought it might be best if she went out tomorrow morning and bought some groceries for the kitchen. She was supposed to be there to help him get used to doing normal things so she was going to try not to let him get adgitated by careless pizza delivery boys.

Sands jumped a bit and slightly gasped. "I didn't know you were there!" Sands said, feeling agitated that he didn't know. "Ah... If you wanna get a few plates and glasses..." Sands said as he opned the root beer slowly, knowing it had a tendency to explode.

"Oh. Sorry, I didnt mean to make you jump," She stopped drying her hair and put the towel down to the side. She looked through the cupboards until she found the plates and cups. Selina put two clear glasses on the work top, "The glasses are directly in front of you," She said quietly the Sands, then opened the pizza box and put a couple of slices on each plate. "Where are we eating?"
