Jack shifted his gaze from Mina, still rolling in the mud, to Katie.
"Oo-er!" I didn't like the look on her lovely face...she seemed to be sizing me up. Eve didn't seem too impressed and clutched my arm suddenly. I smiled...nothing better than having a coupla good wenches fighting over you! Katie glared at me.

I turned my gaze back to Eve. She was clutching Jack's arm. Scared huh? Wimp. I then looked back at Jack. "Your as quiet as the dead Jack. Are you scared of me?" Perfect! Toying with him will make him curious. Now to make him want more. Slowly I walked past him, and before I passed him, I winked at him. Leaving him wanting more attention. But I guess I'll just leave him like that. I started to walk back to the store. I'm on a mission, and I need supplies.

I gazed at her, speechless as she passed me, winking saucily. Little minx! I smiled, reminding myself to catch up with her later. Mina was still rolling around in the mud and I hurried to help her to her feet. She was off her face. "C'mon," I muttered to Eve, "Let's get her to the Pearl."

I laughed a little when I was further away from the group. Jack was most likely going crazy. Oh well. When I reached the store I started to buy supplies. A few boxes of bullets, food, rum, and gun powder. Then I left the store. Once again I passed the Black Pearl. Jack was helping Mina clean up. How kind. I then looked at Eve. She was not on my good site. I decided to give her an evil glare. My eyes were like daggers, stabbing her. Watching in amusement as she started to freak out. What fun this day was turning out to be!

Well, I think I'm giving that other wench the impression that I'm a very scared little girl. How sucky. I usually get respect from people here, pirate or not. Well, I'll show her.
I think I'll show her the worst. I think I'll give her a piercing glare back myself. Oh this is great, it's like an eye-war. She seems a bit shocked.
Katie is a beauty, no doubt about that. I can't help but notice that they are almost equally matched. But there's something about Eve that I can't say that just makes her a notch more beautiful than Katie. I can still grab her later if I'm still not trying to take Eve on myself. Untamable as the sea, ooh this is fun.
Oh well, Mina needs some help here. Eve and I are helping her out-poor thing.
"Eve," I say suddenly. I think I've figured out how to get Eve. But Eve is having an eye-war with Katie.
Shoot.
Well that oughta show her. Except that glare she gave back was really cold. And I don't think I'm on her good side either.
Psh, as if anyone cares.
But I see a new ship here on the port. I reckon I've only seen it once before, and I really don't know....its name is the Excellence. Cool.
There's a cute guy getting off. Hmm, though my first and only love is the sea, I think I'll grab him. I mean, it's one thing to love the sea, but it's another to snag a guy...
He saw me. Great. Now all I have to do is grab attention. Now he's walking over.
Yes! I see a beautiful wench. She's Katie Berman, I think. Great, now all I have to do is have her for the night...yes, she seems interested. Oh joy.
"Could ya help me with my ship?" I ask her.
"No problem," Katie says. "How do you know I am a sea-faring girl?"
"Oh, well, you are legend, almost as much as Jack Sparrow," I say. Perfect. Captain Jack Sparrow was legend, and everyone knew of him. Speaking of Jack, he snagged a beaut. More beautiful than Katie but Katie had that look that I needed for the night.
"Is that your ship?" She asks, pointing at the Excellence.
"Yes, it is," I say. I wrap my arm around her waist. Perfect.
That Katie goes with the tramp, whatever his name is. Oh well, now I don't have to worry about two wenches. I've got meself this beauty right here whom I'm trying to fish but she keeps getting away. We're on the Pearl now. Good.
"Are you alright?" Eve asks. What a beauty. She looks really troubled at the state of Mina. "Is there anything I can get you?"
"A clean cloth, please, but make sure it's wet," Mina says. She's in a really bad state. Humiliated and dirty.
Eve gets up but I grab her arm. "Luv," I say. "Let me come wiv' you."
She seems suspicious. She needs an adventure happening to her. That's the only way to turn pirate.
"Alright," she says. I take her to the captain's quarters.
"Eve," I say. "I'll get a bucket of water, and you get the cloth. It's in here on the third shelf." I point. She nods and grabs it.
"I'll come with you Jack," she says. "I don't trust that girl with the dark curly hair-"
"Miss Katie Berman?" I ask.
"Yes, her," Eve says. "I've heard stories of her, Jack. Though she'll use you once, she'll take what she can from you, including the Pearl." It was true, I heard the same. Maybe I won't take Katie. After all, that little minx could take my beloved Pearl from me....
I take her by the waist and we go to the starboard side of the ship and snatch a bucket of clean water. Eve strains it. Her side profile is even more beautiful than I thought it'd be.
Poor Mina. I really don't think that she deserved all this. I wiped her face carefully, so as not to get any mud in her eyes.
"There," I say. "All better."
"Thank you so much, Captain Sparrow, and Miss...?" Mina says.
"Oh, I'm-" I was about to say but Jack cut me off.
"Just call her Eve. She's my love," he said. Well, for the love of God, Captain Jack Sparrow calling me that? I hardly even know him!
"Jack!" I say suddenly. But wait, there's the possibility of him losing the Pearl to that Berwin girl, and I don't want this ship in the wrong hands.
Jack looks at me, grinning. "Yes, luv?"
"Nevermind. I think I'll take Mina down to a suitable room," I say.
"Let Mister Gibbs do that," he said. "MISTER GIBBS!" At my confused look, he said, "Mister Gibbs is my first mate. After all, the night is young, and we need to get to know each other better."
Whatever.
A man who looked as though he were born old walked over. "Aye, Cap'n? You called."
"Aye, I did," Jack said smartly. "Take Miss Mina down to a cabin, please, she's a guest of ours."
"Aye, Cap'n, but this girl?" He motioned to me. "You realize there's only one available guest room."
"She'll be in my quarters as it were," Jack said. Well, no respect for me, that's what!
"What? Jack, I need my own bed, I can't sleep with you!" I say.
Great, she truly is untamable as the sea.
"You're absolutely positive about that?" I pout. It always works.
"Yes," Eve says firmly. "No bed with someone I just met."
"Fine, you stay in my quarters, and I'll sleep on deck," I say. It always works.
"No! That's not even close to fair! I'll tell you what I'll do. You sleep in your quarters, and I'll stay awake. Besides, I can't sleep. I haven't been able to for the past few weeks," she says.
What? Few weeks!
"Why not, luv?" I ask.
"Well, every night I do, I see...nevermind, I can't. I just can't tell you, you wouldn't believe me," she says. I grin.
"Try me," I say.
"No!" She says. Harder than I can say.
"Why not?" I ask.
"It's absolutely unbelievable for anyone, not even a pirate such as yourself," She says. Wait till I tell her I've bunked with a Voodoo priestess before who had conjured three demons and the soul of my mother.
"Are you sure about that? Because..." I tell her about Tia Dalma, the voodoo priestess.
"Are you serious?" She asks, shocked. "I've never heard of that!"
"Tia Dalma? Sure you may not have heard of her, but have you heard of the Goddess of the Sea, Calypso?" That got her.
"Yes, I have, Jack, but what does she have to do with anything?" She asks, waving her hand in the air impatiently.
"Well, Tia Dalma was Calypso bound in human form," I say. Yes. She can tell me now.
"...And then yes, the stupid wench gives me a glare right back!" Katie says. This is great, I act as if it's all funny but I don't really care. "Eve, I think her name was."
"Eve?" I ask. That's interesting, that's what I heard Jack call his wench.
Probably the same one.
"Yes, Eve." Katie gives me a look. She's sizing me up! Winks saucily.
Okay then.
This guy's name is Marcus Teague. He's very nice, I think I fancy him more than Jack. But he hasn't a clue who his father is and he's turning pirate. How could he not? I mean, his dad's the keeper of the Pirata Codex!
I don't think I should slip it to him. If anyone should, it should be Captain Sparrow. Speaking of which, it seemed that he was having a good time with that witch, Eve.
You know, Eve doesn't seem that bad. I saw her expression earlier and she just didn't seem impressed.
Maybe I shouldn't fight her off. Now, where did that Kassandra go?
"Marcus," I say. "You're really sweet, but I have to find a friend of mine really quick. I'll meet you back here at midnight." Marcus nods and I run to the tavern.
Kassandra. Eve. They look kind of familiar.
Yes, I've found Kassandra, she's drinking another mug of rum. "Kass!" I yell. She turns around.
"Katie!" She runs up to me. "So, did you see Eve? She's my sister."
Oh God, they're related. Whoops. If I need a good ally who knows which men are good with the sea, I need to be allied with her sister too.
Okay, I'll make up to that little slobber of a sister of hers. Hands off of Jack, then.
God, what a sacrifice. Well, Jack didn't mean much to me anyway.
It's getting a bit dark outside. I just bought myself a dirk, a nice, nice dagger to slit Barbossa's throat with.
I noticed Jack was with a girl, the girl who wiped my face. Jack was staring at Katie, though. Man, count on Katie to ruin people's relationships. Humiliating me...
I don't want an affair with Jack, either. Last time I tried, it didn't go too well.
Besides, Jack is so last century. The way he woos women, it's almost as if he was a pirate of the Middle Ages. Not that there were any back then, but...
I'm in the Pearl, now! I won't have to worry about finding Barbossa, then, because I know he's going to try to, what's the nautical term? Commandeer. Commandeer the Pearl. Wait till he gets here and then KILL him!
"Wilhelmina Appleby is Pirate Lord of the British Isles. Katie Berwin almost recieved that title," Jack said, wrapping my hand in a lace cloth. I accidently cut myself trying to open a drawer in his cabin. He had a light touch.
"Thank you," I said. Jack looked into my eyes and smiled. "So, how come Berwin didn't?" I refused to call Berwin by her first name. Yes, I'm stubborn, but after all, she came out of no where and ruined a whole beginning of the night.
I think I'm falling in love with Captain Jack Sparrow.
And I dunno how that happened.

I spoke to Kass for a while and then left her to her drinking. She kinda seemed out of it. So I was on my way back to Marcus but I noticed Jack and Eve talking.
I decided to pay a little visit.
Quietly I crept onto their boat and hid under the windor of the room they were in.
Low and behold! Their talking about me! I think I'll answer Eve's question.
"I didn't get the title because I didn't want it." I think I'll act like it's no surprise that I'm here. "If I was crowned Pirate Lord, then I wouldn't be here. I wouldn't be able to go on grand adventures. If I want the title I could claim it here and now, but I wont. I'd rather be free to sail where I wish. Oh and Eve? Your sister is drunk in an alley... again..." And with that I think I will take my leave. I walked off the ship and back over to Marcus. I bet he's bored without me.

That was odd. She didn't seem as rude, but that's alright. Kass is drinking? Oh well, it's not like I could care anyway.
"It's not like I could care anyway whether or not Kass is drinking again!" I yelled at Katie. She just turned around, opened her mouth as if to say something then shut her mouth again.
Jack looked confused.
I thought Katie and Eve were fighting over me. Oh well...I could care less.
"What she said. And you know what you need?" I asked her. She stared. "Trifles...you need an adventure."
"Why?" She asked. "Is there something wrong with me now? Not that I'd say no to an adventure, but-"
"Finally! I've got you in the net! We'll go on an adventure!" It's not like Eve still accepted me, it was still that she was untamable as the sea. And from our conversation, it seemed that she would be harder to get. But still, the adventure was all I needed to hear.
"What? I-"
"No questions, Eve, luv. All we've got to do, is to get the Fountain of Youth, savvy?" I said, triumphantly. Eve nodded, her eyebrows raised.
"The Fountain of Youth," she said. I nodded quickly. "Such a thing exists?"
"Of course it does, luv," I said, scooting closer to her.
Marcus was staring out into the sky when I found him. We talked for a bit and then he said, "Say! Isn't that the Black Pearl?" I looked out where he was pointing. Yes, it was! And it was leaving-with Eve and Jack! Both!
"Quick, we must follow it!" I commanded.
"What?" Marcus asked.
"I know where they're headed, and I want something Sparrow's after," I said. I know he's after the Fountain of Youth, too, I heard him saying something about it.
"Don't you have a ship? A faster one?" He asked.
"Who cares? We'll make port here afterwards. Besides, what's good for me must be good for you, right?" I gave him another rougish wink.
We made it out of the Port but the Pearl was too fast.
Way too fast.
"Wasn't I tellin' you the truth, luv?" Jack asked. "That the ship is the fastest in the world?"
"We haven't travelled the world, Jack," Eve said. She looked miserable. I wonder what's wrong.
"Why so gloomy?" I asked. "Wot's wrong?"
"I-I can't say, Jack, it's the same thing to do with my dreams," She said. Back to square one. Well, I'll get it out of her some time.
"Cap'n!" Yelled a voice. Now? It was Gibbs.
"Aye, Mister Gibbs," I said powerfully. Muahaha. It feels good to be Captain.
"A ship's been spotted, sir, following us," Gibbs said.
"Colours?" I asked. Always best to ask.
"She ent flyin' any, sir," Gibbs said. Pirates. Best not be Barbossa, I hate him down to me weasly black guts.
"Seen anyone on board that look familiar?" I asked. If not, it's probably someone just hoping to see how fast my beloved ship foes.
"Well, I did see that one girl wiv' curly black hair and turquoise eyes, sir," he said.
Katie Berwen. She's either after me ship or the Fountain of Youth.
"We'll have to change course. Stop by Isla Angelos," I said. A perfect hiding place, the hidden island was shaped like an angel. She would never know where we were. And besides, even if she once sighted Isla Angelos, she'd never know where to look. Or how to ever come back to it again. Only I knew where it was, and soon, sure would Eve.
I knew something was wrong the moment the ship wheeled around. And Jack and that lass upstairs...well, the ship was wheeled east to somewhere.
I decided to walk upstairs. I guess I will. I want to see what it is that is up their sleeves....

"Yes!" We were rid of Katie...me and Jack together alone at last. Well, not exactly alone...with a whole crew and Mina it was gonna be pretty difficult to get Jack all to myself but I was confident I could do it....after I'd strung him along for a bit of course! Isla Angelos...sounded perfect for seduction - except it would be ME doing the seducing, not Jack!
"So...where are we going?" I asked, laughing as Jack jumped, almost dropping his bottle of rum.
"Mina! Bloody Hell you nearly gave me a heart attack!"
"Somewhere called the Isla Angelos by all accounts."
I stared at Jack, "Are you joking? You know you were bloody banned by the natives for seducing their women! You're mad...remember, they said they'd kill you if you came back! Me and Barbossa had to bloody rescue you! They were about to put your head on a stick!
"I haven't forgotten Mina," I answered aloofly, "I'm not scared of them...I'm civilised ain't I?" I grinned at Eve, acting braver than I felt...'course I was a little scared but I wasn't about to let her think I was a bloody coward.

I watched as jack changed his course. "That little weasel!" I bet he's going to go hide somewhere and hope I never catch up... Oh well! I love a good chase. I turned to Marcus. "Keep on their trail. If you loose then, I'll never forgive you." Once again I winked at him, and then walked down to the front of the ship.
Ol'Jack was tricky, but I bet we can get him.
I wonder why Katie wants to catch up to Jack so much? Maybe treasure? I have no idea. "Why don't you steer the boat? You're one of the greatest captain alive aren't you?"
She looked up at me. "You steer! I'm going to sleep!"
Oh great! She gets to sleep, and I have to steer the boat. All night!
