Scarlett didn't care much about their argument, it was like so many others before.She gazed at the island, tears still slowly rolling down her cheeks."Will we be going to that island then?"she asked.

Katie was finally beginning to feel optimistic. They were turning her way! She sat down quietly until she heard someone behind her whispering, "Kin Tata!" She wheeled around and saw two cannibals.

Scarlett just nodded.She was at a rather fragile state, considering her best mate got blown into smitherines.
Jack came to her side and held her close."Give it time love, it'll be alright."he said, feeling a slight twinge of sadness.He and Katie weren't best mates but he knew it wouldn't be the smae without her.

Elizabeth was wide awake. "Katie!" She realized, with horror, that Katie wasn't with them. "She must be on the Cannibal Island!"
"Sorry, luv, but I'd say she's as good as dead. She was where the bomb started."
Elizabeth laughed at that. "Katie? Ha. She's not one to give in easily, Jack."

Suddenly a huge wave caught the long boat, which overturned, pitching the pirates into the sea.
"HELP!" Ragetti screeched, grabbing Pintel.
Mina and Barbossa were the first to break the surface, clutching each other. Mina looked around for the others frantically, her soaking hair plastered to her skull.
Scarlett emerged a few feet away, coughing and holding Jack's hat, hauling Gibbs behind her.
"Scarlett! Gibbs! Over here!" Barbossa yelled, dragging Mina towards the shore where Ragetti and Pintel lay spluttering and grumbling.

Elizabeth came out of the water last with Jack.
"Truffles," he said to Elizabeth, who looked up. "We didn't need that again, now, did we?"
"Not that I'm aware of."

Jack turned to him but before he could make a snappy comeback Mina cleared her throat.
"Shouldn't we be thinking about leaving before we're eaten?"
"Yeah lets get Katie and go!"

Elizabeth found Jack's compass in the wet sand, and made her heart feel clearly that she wanted Katie the most. "She's due north."
