(But Jack and Scarlett aren't bound together! I said EVE and Jack were bound together, silly!)
Mina walked around the cabin's quarters. If she wasn't mistaken, there was a little porthole somewhere there where she could hear everything. Yes, she'd found it. She quietly and sneakily pried it open and heard the rest of the conversation.
"Well, I'll take you to the farthest gate, but you can only choose two people to come with you. If anyone else should come, be it alone or on the same ship, then horrible things will happen. Trust me, you won't want those horrible things to happen. And don't bring your ship, or it will be destroyed for all eternity and I won't be able to raise it up for you," said Will. "Oh and, uh, you might just meet Davy Jones back in his own locker. But don't worry, he is dead, and he can't harm you." Jack rolled his eyes.
"Fine, I'll choose two. Eve," Jack said. Eve turned to Jack.
"Yes?" said Eve.
"You'll be one of them. And who hasn't caused trouble?" Jack said, thinking out loud. "Hm...Wilhelmina Appleby. There're my two guests. Besides, as you and I both know, Eve is crucial to igniting the Fountain, and she is the girl of my choice. Mina will just be along with us."
"It's settled then. We leave at dawn for the Fountain, for if we leave now, there are things that will be following us," said Will in a spooky tone. Jack gulped, nodded and wheeled around, getting ready for the worst.
That Eve! That Mina! Why couldn't I go? I was with Jack on many other dangerous adventures, too...
I'll be travelling with the greatest Pirate and the most beautiful Sea Nymph to the Fountain of Youth. Oh, this is my lucky day, thought Mina. She quickly and quietly closed the porthole and hurried to the other side of the deck as Captain Sparrow and Miss Prewett came out, followed by the handsome Captain Turner.
"You won't be taking me, Jack?" said Scarlett angrily.
Jack turned around and retorted (angrily) "I don't need you to tell me who's going with us. It's for the better. If you come with us, I won't have any way of getting the four of us what we need." Scarlett scowled and got off the ship with Katie, onto the Excellence.
Marcus, on board his ship, the Excellence, unearthed some parchment under a hidden compartment of a drawer in the Captain's Quarters. The man who was his father (who he didn't know) was the previous owner of the ship. Captain Teague Sparrow, he was, but Marcus did not know. Marcus Teague.
There were different things, some were logs, others were details about open ports. But one he noticed was odd. It was a birth certificate--his birth certificate. His mother's name was on there, Angeline DeVasco, but where his father's name was supposed to be, there was a hole with scorch marks. He slammed the certificate on the table and held his forehead. He was in pain.
