Belsamuel looked at the girl.... no, he corrected himself, woman.... with an appraising eye.
"Well, as fun as that may be, do we really have time for that? I mean, take it from me, I'd like the opportunity, but lets think about the more important things first."
He got up and started getting his gathertings together. All the usual things he needed were in his cloak. Oh how me loved his cloak. He always said he'd buy a new one, but he knew he never would....... unless the new one had more pockets!
"Right, she who is now the centre of my passionate attention. Are we off? Or do you have more questions?"

"That was not an invitation." Mona muttered under her breath a little when he obviously took her meanings the wrong way-- or maybe it had just been the alcohol talking. She stopped spinning the empty bottle and nodded a little. "I'm ready to get off this rock, indeed. My companions should be waiting for me at the docks. They should have found some sort of transportation method by now." She pushed off the wall.

Belsamuel quickly grabbed her as she overbalanced and sent herself almost onto the floor.
"Christ there sweetness, it has been a while for you, hasn't it?" Belsamuel picked her up in his arms and cradled her into him while he walked her over to the bed. "Sit there for a bit and get your bearings back. The last thing I need is to be holding your hair back as soon as we hit fresh air." He reached into one of his pockets and pulled out a small vial and dropped 3 drops into a galss of water. "Drink this and lay back for a bit.... It'll help."

Mona held the glass in her hand, looking at it with narrowed eyes almost. "You know I won't drink this." She held it back out to him. "I hardly know you, let alone trust you that much." She motioned for him to take it. "Go on then. You take a drink first and then give it back to me if it will help."

"Um.... well..... it was only a salt purifier to hydrate your blood...."
Belsamuel took the drink dubiously, glancing at it with a worried eye. A tear of sweat beaded off his brow as he took a quick gulp, halving the glass's contents. After a moment his eyes started to unfocus slightly and he started to sway where he stood. His mouth moved with no words and his face started to redden as he stumbled forward, grasping the bedpost. He fell to two knees and the glass of saltwater fell out of his hand, all over Mona's head. He coughed and wracked as he bowled up into a ball on the ground. Suddenly his coughing became laughter and he bounded up, fliping as he stood and bowing to Mona.
"Thankyou, thankyou...I'll be here all week!.......The drenching was for not trusting me. Would you like another?

Mona had nearly lost it when he put on his little act and she really did lose it in anger when he started to laugh. "You-- you---" She didn't even have the words to call him, stuttering slightly as she tried to come up with something in the heat of the moment. Nothing. Stupid mouth.

(Ohhhhh wow)
Charlotte's scream drowned everything else. Even Jack turned around with a worried look. She began trying to fight him off, shooting at him, but she missed by several inches. Usually she was a good fighter, but the man was too big.
"Come now, pretty," he said.
Charlotte began panicking, not able to focus. She kicked behind her, but the man would not let go. His thick, strong, hairy arms held her together as he pulled her head back by her hair. She bit him, but it didn't help. The man resisted her attempts.
"WILL SOMEONE DO SOMETHING?"
All of the other people had left in fear, except for Jack, whom she couldn't see. All she knew was that if no one helped, something bad was about to happen to her.

Belsamuel saw that this girl had just no sense of humor....
"I'm sorry. I usually cover discomfort with humor, and believe me it's very discomforting beong in your distrustful gaze."
He passed her a towel to dry herself down with....

"Humpfhh." Mona huffed a little, refusing to take anything he offered her, even the towel at the moment. "Bastard..." She muttered underneath her breath, lifting up the corner of her shirt to dry her face off with it at least. She never once thought that it was a mixture of salt and water that he'd thrown on her and as she lifted her shirt-- the drops that had managed to trace down her skin revealed the black ink drawing that appeared all over.

"What the?.....Aaaahhhhh, so I was right!"
He glanced at her and came close enough to lift her shirt a little further up, ignoring the fact he almost bared her breast to see. She quickly pulled away from him.
"We had theories, Archer and I. He thought the map might be rune scribed somehow. The shadow of your hand with the light reflecting the shadow with the map...something like that. I onl the other hand had guessed at some sort of tattoo that only showed up under certain circumstances.....although my guess was moonlight, a favourite of artificers..... but saltwater? A bit risky for our living arrangements......" He continued to mutter under his breath as he stared at the empty wall....
