Alice yawned hugely even though she normally was hardly ever tired. The night had been particularly long and she sighed. She was beginning to get a headache which rarely happened.She followed the others lost in her thoughts and thinking about her family at what Lestat had said.

Lestat said,slightly surprised, "The Romanians need to get with the times, stakes don't work,neither does holy water,and I love looking at crucifixes.They'd die of shock if they walked into one of their pristine chapels and found moi,a creature of darkness,sitting there worshiping along with them." he laughed at this last comment,because he'd done that already.
