"great" Nikki smirked and decided not to look back on their way to the college. Mark wouldn't get near them, or her. as long as Gilbert was around.
Within fifteen minutes they reached the college and went inside "I'm sure the secretary knows if the head master is expecting us already" she said and went over to a desk.

Gilbert sat down with Arnie in the reception area. Arnie immediately reached for the magazines and started flicking through them.

Nikki came back after five minutes "He will be with you soon, we have to wait here for a few moments.. I won't go in with you, since that would be odd" she smirked a little, being more nervous than Gilbert probably.

"Be yourself, tell them your story, show them how much you want this, show him your highschool diploma stuff like that.. you'll do fine" Nikki smiled, she was happy for Gilbert, they were going to make it. TOgether, in the big city.
the principal walked towards them "Gilbert Grape?" he asked, looking around
"Go do your thing" Nikki grinned and walked back to where Arnie was sitting. She would keep him company while Gilbert was being interrogated.

Nikki sat back in the chairs with Arnie. She noticed he seemed quite more unruly then normally.. Arnie kept moving around, touching things, walking around..

Nikki went back over to the desk, talking to the woman behind it. She had left Arnie in his seat. At least she thought she had..
Arnie sneaked out of the school and went outside.
"So you are a friend of Nikki's, she's certainly is a wonderful girl, excellent student, she has to have a big influence on you right?"
