"Each to their own," I shrug and finish off my second pint of grog. I stand up with her, placing a hand on my hip. "I think we should get some sleep before we sail tomorrow morning. The less the men have to criticise us for, the better off we'll be,"

I nod.. "I was wonderin' though.. Where to begin heading. Do you even know where tha' guy plans on taking us?" I gesture to the one she'd asked.

"You heard Europe, so we'll start off with Europe. We'll go from there," I suggest. "He's not usually hard to follow, he's not exactly subtle and draws a lot of attention to himself, leaving a messy trail ... it's just catching up with that's the problem,"

I nod, "Do we head across the Atlantic or the Asian Oceans? Europe is unfortunately big."

I shrug. "You know him better than I do, where is he more likely to head?" I ask, placing a few coins on the counter and the bartender slipped me a room key. "We'll have to share ... unless you've got enough money for a seperate room,"

I shake my head. If she's willing to pay I'm not giving over anything. "I'd say he'd slip past Asia. He has a tendacy for the girls at Singapore."

I scoff. "Of course he does, he's a man," I roll my eyes. "So we'll head to Singapore then, we might be able to find out from some of the women there where he's heading next," I pick the key up in my head and start up the stairs to the small room, not looking back to see if Venice was following me.

I slowly trail behind, glad to get on track with this task. Though, the fact she's been after him for five years gives me little hope.

I unlock the door to our room and wait for her to step inside before I lock the door behind her - I didn't want drunk men stumbling inside thinking they'd found two wenches. That was the trouble with being women in Tortuga. I set the keys down on the bedside table and kick my boots off. I slid under the sheets without a word to Venice. I'd paid for the room, which of course meant I got to sleep in the bed.

I sink down in the corner, not so bothered. I was planning to find some alleyway to sleep in tonight, like otehr nights. That way it's easier to save up my pennies. For more Important things. Like rum.
