I fall into a light sleep quickly, with my pistol under my pillow and my hand resting on in, ready to wake up at the slightest noise.

I don't though. It takes my mind a while to settle down before I manage to drift off into any kind of sleep. Unsure how to feel about this journey finally starting to lead me somewhere, along with some help. It seems a miracle.

I wake up early and walk over to the window, watching the sunrise over the docks. I stay there for a while, enjoying the peace and quiet, until I decide I'd been standing at the window long enough - the longer I stood at the window, the further away Sparrow was getting.
I walk across the room and nudge the sleeping girl with my foot.

"Aye.." I try to stretch a little before stumbling to my feet.. "I thought as much. Hmm.."
I staighten myself out and glance across to her.. "Where is the ship we're headed to?"

I walk across to the window again, looking for the ship. I point it out for her. "That one there," It was quite a grand looking ship, I was sure it was bigger than the Pearl, but that also meant it would be slower.

"Hmf. Alright." My gaze settles on it, quite fustrated that we'll be travelling back to where I've just ventured from. But this time I'm on the right track.

I glance at her for a moment before grabbing my pistol from under my pillow and stuffing it back into my waistband - my whole life's worth of possessions.
"Let's go then," I said, somewhat sharply, as I walk out the door and back down the stairs.

I nod and speed up so that I'm ahead of her as we reach the streets before the port.
