Alexis just lay unmoving, breathing in and out deeply and evenly, her pulse fluttering in the side of her neck as her head leaned back.

I lowered my mouth to her neck, but I hesitated. Killing her would be the end of me... but what if I just tasted...

Aden let go of her and took a step back "..you shouldn't watch over her, you're worthless" He muttered.
"ALEXIIIS!!!" he shouted for his daughter.

I heard Aden calling for her int he distance. I quickly resheathed my fangs. I picked alexis up, not knowing what else to do.
For a moment, my walls caved in at his critizism; his hurtful words. My eyes betrayed my hurt, but I quickly recollected myself, hopefully before he saw. I again was overcome with anger instead of pain. "maybe you should notice that your girlfriend is also missing..." I said dryly

"..friend" He corrected her, feeling a sence of jealousy perhaps. He knew he could still get to her, obviously (to him at least).
"ALEXIIIIIS! BLOODY ANSWER ME!" He shouted "You try, you made her turn away from me, she won't answer a stranger"

I nodded, "ALEXIS!!!!!" As a vampire, I had learned to live without fear, but right now, I felt fear flooding my thoughts. "Why would they leave?! Why?!" I screamed at Aden, bordering hysteria.
i rushed closer to them, Alexis still in my arms. I had no idea what I was going to say, but I knew I had to make it could. i was still a little ways away, I hadn't realized that we'd gone that far.

I gasped for air, "oh my god." I ran quickly after Aden. Before I realized it, tears started fallin from my face for the first time since I had been turned.
I too am running toward them, not as quickly seeing as I'm holding Alexis.

Alexis made a soft groaning sound as she started to wake from being joustled around in Alice's arms as she was half running with her. Her eyes fluttered open, back to their soft green color as she looked around at the passing dark sky and the underside and jaw of Alice's face.
